I close my eyes , and you make me feel as if I were living years , centuries ago , when musics wasn't a technical industrial production ; thanks for the escape and your dedication , it's great !
lovely variation of Mauro Giuliani music. This masterpiece was composed with a lot of improvisation on a piece of theme music but played in different keys and modulation.
Thank you Alexander! Nowdays I play this repertoire with period instrument, a modern copy of Fabricatore, which makes it sound a bit more like Giuliani...
The best performance of this piece I have seen or heard anywhere. I think Maestro Giuliani would approve. I practiced this for two months but the results were not too bad, but not as polished, of course. The 4th variation is very difficult to master at tempo, but you play it very easily. I also really liked the rubato. Some people play rubato and distort the time signature, but yours is perfect. Maybe one day I will practice the piece again and study this excellent performance!
