There have been several important Israeli studies which in 2015 resulted in HBOT becoming standard treatment for brain injuries in Israel. At present, there is an important corroborative study in the US headed by Dr. Paul Harch. You may find this article of interest and use: www.brainline.org/story/time-right-alternative-therapies
When does something that actually works become more than an "alternative"? When does heath care in the US become evidence based rather than profit based?
Very frustrating. With the work of Dr. Paul Harch and others here in the states, one can hope that DOD, VA and Tricare will adopt HBOT for wounded vets and servicemen and women. They do not require FDA approval. Perhaps then mainstream insurers will follow suit and cover HBOT for neurological conditions. Brick by brick.
