This place will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Truly an amazing and magical place. Our daughter has a star there and we plan on gifting our time to volunteer there soon. We live in West Virginia but the greatest gift you can give someone is time. We advocate hard for the voices who can no longer be heard. My dream is to see childhood cancer awareness in professional sports because of how underfunded and disenfranchised it is. 4% isn't enough. She was honored last year on the Ravens field and I was able to speak directly with their PR team. We reach out every year to our governor to have September declared childhood cancer awareness month. We offer support and resources to families dealing with similar circumstances ours did. This year we are speaking with Congress about these issues affecting our youth. When I look back on this place and remember our journey and the kindness and generosity it really makes me tear up. We will never stop fighting for you all!
Awesome place,my daughter did her wish trip November of 2019, the castle of stars brought tears to my eyes the first tie I qalked into it, y daughter is still in remission, wasn't and easy road, had to take her to urgent care with pneumonia in the middle of our wish week but still was a trip of a lifetime ,even had to get a hip replacement done before we could do the trip because the steroids from leukemia that supercharge the chemo when it goes in had done her hipsocket in, we would have never been able to afford it, thank you to all who donate to this fantastic organization
I stayed at GKTW in 2010 for my wish trip. It was a week filled with laughter, love, and fun. It gave me strength to get through continued challenges due to my diagnosis. ❤

This and the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum are the biggest blessings in our very young RU-vid journey so far! So many amazing changee since I was there for my wish in the 90s! Now we are in the midst of planning with the make a wish for my daughters wish as she unfortunately is another child going through illness. Thank you to all of you who do this for the kids. Its absolutely incredible and leaves memories that last a life time 😊.

The best day of my life when I tell you... We are going to Give Kids the World during Halloween 🎃. We are so excited but as a Dad to a 4 year old with leukemia my hope and prayer is that no more stars have to be placed in the castle. Those stars celebrate each child but is a reminder as well of the pain and suffering each one of these children have endured 😢

Thank you for this great video of Give Kids The World Village. It is amazing to see how it has grown since the early 90s when I was a Volunteer clown there. Hiya, the food service is Cafeteria style, where there is a ton of variety from what we could see, you will have to go to counter and get what you would want.
