The tune I kind of fumbled through here (again, in my car at my lunch break 😊)
It's called Give Me Your Hand or Tabhair dom do Lámh, written by Rory Dall O'Cahan in about 1603.
I recently got this beautiful Sobell octave mandolin made sometime in the '80s. It's his old big body style and it sounds fantastic! It definitely needs a refret, there's major wear on them and you can really hear it when I finger a few specific frets. A few of the notes get quite dissonant but you can still hear how magnificent this instrument sounds. With a little maintenance work it's going to be amazing.
