Opposite hand makes your core work harder which has its benefits, but limits the weight you can lift if core is limiting factor. Heavier weight = better glute strength.
Very complex set up that can be done in a much easier way with bulgarian split squat (1st exercise) and single leg deadlift with a dumbell (2nd exercise).
A band would be excellent for these as it would increase the resistance where you’re getting stronger. But I’d find something stable to anchor it to. The angle of resistance being shown is spot on perfect for attacking the glutes
So I have an issue with one side of my hip(right side). When I do single leg movements to try to fix my glute/leg imbalance in muscles, and in working on left leg which is weaker side, my right leg starts burning from balancing myself on that side. Why does this happen to me? 😢
Can you try balancing movements at home? Just lifting one foot as you stand, can improve basic balance. I'm not a physio but gotten through many injuries.
Give squat university a follow! They have videos for exactly what you're talking about, "gluteal amnesia" and how to correct it. My 🍑 has gotten much heftier since taking my profile pic thanks to that guy!
Should watch squatUniversity channel he's physiotherapist and trainer and talks abt imbalance n tight hips which sounds like u have. There's warm up before performing squats or glute workouts. Check the channel out
@@gabrielmyers2946 I follow him already. It's not really gluteal amnesia. It's more like my right leg & hip are learned forward to much so it throws my balance off & causes my right leg, on side of my glute to burn bc of the position its in when trying to do exercises on the left leg. I think I might need to correct my hips but I'm not sure what exactly I need to correct. Say I do a regular Squat, my right hip where it connects to my leg, feels tight like I'm putting pressure on something. It causes my right leg/glute to also take most of the strength & is much more muscular than the left. Left still has some but not as much as the right at all.
@@strawburybounce still I'm hoping cuz 30s and 40s is somehow a big distance. We're talking about 1/2 to one whole decade, you know. I'm doing the routine and hopefully in two years can gain glutes like you do.
Type ( a ) if you believe if you think those are real muscles, type ( b ) if you think that those are fats and type ( c ) if you think those are synthetics.
@@SINcityBigLOU I forgot the letter (d) . Little bit of muscle, little bit of, and a little bit os synthetics can be considered a great combination. For those who would like to join the voting just select a , b , c or d.
