Love the sizes of those Think Tank pouches! Three of my EDC... 1. Extra batteries 2. Extra SD card 3. Remote control because I have limited use of my hands. The remote helps make taking photos easier for me.
I love your videos. So practical. I bring power cords and the Anker hub, my external hard drives, sometimes the year before too, especially when on a McKay trip and I might want to see an image from a previous trip. Lens cloth. Power bank. I admit that my stuff is not always in the sane place. That is why I am very interested in your process with the Think Tank sets
I could definitely use some little pouches like that. It always seems like my chargers and cords are just a mess when traveling. Something to contain them would be helpful.
You’ve put together an exhaustive EDC. My daily carry-along starts with the iPhone, an Insta360 Flow, the AirPod Pro and charging cables… but every other day I’m carrying my Sony A7RII, MacBook Pro, all charging cables, one extra lens, backup battery along with flash batteries and charging pack for the camera add to my EDC
Top 3 for me would be: 1) knife, currently a Vosteed Thunderbird 2) Flashlight, a no-name off amazon. It's a 1000 lm headlamp with removable light. I keep the headband in my pack but the light in my pocket. 3) Multitool, currently a Wetols 21 in 1 (because it uses standard 1/4" bits) Thanks for the opportunity and good luck folks!
Very cool! Would love to have em someday! Love your setup for each one! So easy grab and go. For me I would definitely use one for my anker power brick and a few cables to charge it and my phone. Also one for my laptop charger and mouse would be nice too! My top three is 1. MSI Creator laptop 2. Portable anker charger 3. Think tank backlight 26l/ camera gear. Always have my camera gear with me on short or long trips
My top 3 EDC carry is ssd's for back and forth to work, pocket flashlight cause I sell real estate and you never know when you'll need it, and an Anker power bank. Always interesting to see what people carry around with them
EDC pouches are useful for quite a lot of things, can see that small one being useful for carrying tools needed for emergency(batteries, small lights, etc..).
Trailer creates PNW envy!!! EDC: LaCie TB SSD drive. Rocket Blower for sensor cleaning. Charging cords for MacBook, iPhone, Apple Watch. Plug in the MacBook and the other two can charge from there! Of course, while not in the EDC bags, the MacBook comes along. With this setup, I grab the bag and the MacBook and be on my way.
To be honest, every day it's just a lens cloth, lens cleaner, and a small flashlight. Everything except the lens cleaner goes into my pocket. I also generally only carry the camera on a camera strap and a lens on the camera. No tripod or extra lenses. Traveling is a whole different ball game.
My top 3 EDC, other than my phone and Galaxy watch, is an old school paper pocket notebook & pen, a pocketable tripod (usually the Manfrotto one), and one of those cheap clip-on phone telescopes
+1 for travel specific pieces so you never have to worry about packing your kit. I also replaced my macbook pro charger with one with 3 USBC ports so I can charge my laptop, watch, and phone all in the same place. I also have a rechargeable headlamp and flashlight that can both be topped off with my anker battery. I also always carry a Fischer Space Pen that will write on anything even upside down or under water, cause you never know ;)
Boy do I feel out of it. EDC to me is my car key, only one with no ring, little knives, can openers. Just one key. Along with my phone and my wallet. Maybe my earbuds to listen to my podcasts at the gym. That's it.
