One of my best purchases for the motorcycle. I wonder why Suzuki doesn't put such glass in stock 🤔. Airflow is the best! My height is 182 cm and it solves everything. V-Strom is a dream bike now. ❤
Thanks for the vid - though would have liked to see the screen fully down as well as up. Rider Side Up - I'm 5'10" and the stock screen is just about OK. It protects me from turbulence/buffeting, but there is LOT of wind noise. This could be the answer I'm looking for - any feedback on how quiet/effective the the Givi is in use NYCZ31? :)
Thanks for the info. Are you having to look THROUGH the windshield or over it? How tall are you? I'd like to buy this but I'm not wanting to look through the windshield if possible.
cowboy7x I’m 5’9”. The height of the shield is adjustable, if I put it all the way up, it’s not quite at my eye level. I can still see over it. What I generally do is put it up on the highway for max wind protection then slide it down when I’m off the highway.
Hi thanks for the video. Curious, was the stock screen really not good enough? I'm considering a 2018 v-strom new, hoping I don't need to buy a screen like this for freeway riding. Might instead I'll go with a 2012-2016 used bike, and get a one of these screens, if the stock isn't good enough on the new ones.
Journal Rider I wouldn’t say the stock screen is bad, just that you need to remove six allen bolts to adjust it. With the airflow you just raise two levers and you can slide it up and down; no tools, no need to get off the bike. Likewise The stock screen isn’t bad with buffeting, but the airflow is a huge leap from stock
On my bike , the stock screen is pretty noisy in my Arai SIgnet X at anything over 50 MPH. I am 5 foot ten. If I scrunch down it is very quiet. Will be buying a new windscreen.
With me at 1 meter 90, V strom 2011 the stock in top creates a lot of rumble. The lowest position is less but still a lot more as my naked honda cb1100. It is all about the height of the turbulence area (none at a naked bike :-)) compared to the height of your ears
