Regarding Father of Nation Confusion: Question should have been “who is known as father of nation?” My bad! I accept that Govt didn’t announce anyone officially as father of nation. Netaji Subash chandra Bose gave “BAPU” title to Gandhi. On a similar line, Netaji title was given to Bose by soldiers of Azad Hind Fauj. Indian govt officially didn’t give these titles. These are the titles that other freedom fighters or some organizations gave to our freedom fighters. Edit1: Please don’t bad mouth the participants. Infront of camera, we all might give wrong answers due to nervousness. Also, the participants came to IIT Roorkee for a college fest. Treat this video as a knowledge source in an entertaining way. He technically isn't. It was unofficially said by someone on the radio during the independence. Our constitution doesn't allow to give such titles to anyone. So factually, we don't have a father of nation....
