I Ride an Indian, but every chance I get I stop and document Harley dealers and I organize lots of our rides. I make sure to take our groups to different Harley Davidsons throughout, even though I'm the only one on an Indian I just love the biker community. But it is true, Harley is doing away with the smaller Mom and Pops dealers and I myself think this is going to bite Harley in the rear sooner or later. On our group rides if we visit an Indian dealer my buddies will not walk inside. It's pretty sad that I'll go out of my way to visit any dealer. It's like I tell them, respect other riders choices of motorcycle and remember what Adam say. Get off the couch and buy the Damm bike.

In my area, Large dealer groups buy everything up. It's like buying from corporations now. I have to ride a while to get to a real independent dealer. Sad really.

Cool story about the history of that dealership, i will say im hoping that man has someone to pass it down to, i say that because our semi local dealership is closing down after being in business for 61 years, the owner passed away & none of his children want anything to do with it, very sad.

I made my previous comments cause I have worked at a dealership where not one other low paid employee could afford a harley except me and i purchased my ride long before i tried working at a Harley dealer the only other person there that rode a Harley was the Dealership owner , just goes to show some dealers are only out for money and those like Ukes are riders and have a great dealership

NOW, after some rest, some private time with Miss Ashley and a great camping trip with Mr. Brady we all hope to see you two wrenching a new custom bike together. While Toni visited with her eldest son during our ride yesterday, I took all the grandkids for rides. Only one left that sits on the tank in front of me. Her only disappointment was not getting above 2nd gear going around the neighborhood. Now I have three more future students on my old bike in a parking lot. Teaching kids the joy, skill and maintenance of their own bikes. For all my fellow Veterans, get your kids on those bikes and get the wind in their hair. This brought a tear to my eye. I was also driven home from the hospital in a side car. My grandfather owned a Harley-Davidson dealership and my grandfather and grandmother used motorcycles for transportation. My father and uncles raced motorcycles and watching you and the Considerate Canadians round up the total to 600K made me tear up with joy for humanity.
