When Wilder made his comeback he needed a trainer that could teach a simple offensive game, his counterpunching right hand was figured out a long time ago, he needed to add a bit more to his arsenal, he needed style that would get him throwing more, make him go forward, pushing back his oppenents, giving opportunity for the right hand to land, but also NOT focusing on a knockout but aiming to hurt his oppenents over 12 rounds and only looking for the knockout if it presents it self..... Derek James would have been good, Robert Garcia, Ronnie Shields, maybe Freddie Roach, Mark Tibbs(from the UK). He also needed to take the AJ and Joseph Parker approach, tunes ups and lots of activity leading back to top level in the end, he needed a good Sports Science team behind him and needed to get his weight right he was to undersized at Heavyweight........ anyways, its too late to do this now, the comeback opportunity is now truly gone.

Call me crazy, but I don't get why people say the Wilder/Fury trilogy was so epic. I think in 3 fights Wilder won a total of four RDS. None of those 3 fights were better than Usyk/Fury IMHO.

Wilder helped bring life back to the heavyweight division. Even though his resume wasnt the greatest he had some of the most exciting moments in boxing over the past decade. Still salute his contribution to boxing. I still go back and watch that legendary staredown of Stiverne in their 2nd fight before he knocked his dreads off haha.

The only reason I started watching heavyweight boxing again was the hype he created and the life he brought back to the division. So let’s give him props

Unchecked Rabbit Punches, by the ref in Fury fights caused some noticeable neuro symptoms in Wilder. Muscle weakness in particular(His power is gone). There are others symptoms. He should have never fought after those fights, and he was lucky to get out the Zhang fight without serious injury. Well done, Mr Wilder. Mission accomplished!!!
