The problem that pissed folk of on Wilder was his own belief and some of his fans that he was a great. When he fought no one. Fury the same

When Wilder made his comeback he needed a trainer that could teach a simple offensive game, his counterpunching right hand was figured out a long time ago, he needed to add a bit more to his arsenal, he needed style that would get him throwing more, make him go forward, pushing back his oppenents, giving opportunity for the right hand to land, but also NOT focusing on a knockout but aiming to hurt his oppenents over 12 rounds and only looking for the knockout if it presents it self..... Derek James would have been good, Robert Garcia, Ronnie Shields, maybe Freddie Roach, Mark Tibbs(from the UK). He also needed to take the AJ and Joseph Parker approach, tunes ups and lots of activity leading back to top level in the end, he needed a good Sports Science team behind him and needed to get his weight right he was to undersized at Heavyweight........ anyways, its too late to do this now, the comeback opportunity is now truly gone.

@svh01
@svh01 20 дней назад
@@joelundy7198 Not true. Depends on the ref. He got up and won the rest of the round. It's funny how people have double standards. By your logic Wilder should have been stopped in the 1st Ortiz fight. MOST refs would have stopped that fight and would have denied Wilder the opportunity to comeback and get the KO. As a matter of fact Wilder was given extra time. Each ref does things differently . Like I said over all the fights weren't that competitive. Wilder landed 4 good punches in 3 fights.
@joelundy7198
@joelundy7198 20 дней назад
Can't argue that point. Well I could but like you said, the ref. However, if Deontay is a 1 trick pony, and you're the "best ever", how'd you allow that pony tony get his best trick off??
@svh01
@svh01 20 дней назад
@@joelundy7198 Well to start MOST fighters aren't as good as they think they are! Some time avoiding that 'one trick" isn't as easy to avoid as a fighter thinks, which is why the 1 trick was ever successful in the first place. Of course there's always the fighter getting careless and making mistakes because they underestimate they're opponent. Also to be fair in this situation, Fury has been down a lot in his career so it's not surprising that Wilder put him down..

Wilder helped bring life back to the heavyweight division. Even though his resume wasnt the greatest he had some of the most exciting moments in boxing over the past decade. Still salute his contribution to boxing. I still go back and watch that legendary staredown of Stiverne in their 2nd fight before he knocked his dreads off haha.

Wilder is the Rhonda rousey of boxing, no real skill, got by off only a 1-2, look at all his fights and training it all the same 1-2 combo, as everyone was getting better, and evolving evolving they didn't improve cause he assumed hi 1-2 would always work

Americans were so desperate for a heavyweight champion that they hyped up wilder. wilder started living off AJ name. While AJ was fighting Klitchtco, Pulev, povetkin, Parker... wilder was fighting bums upon bums... wilder is the most overrated boxer in boxing history!!! how can your best win be old man luiz ortiz? luiz o best win was Bryant Jenkins.. Fury was cherry pick gone wrong, he avoided AJ like a plaque... but he will lie and create a narrative that is AJ that avoided him .. but we real once can see through.... He even admitted on his Twitter/ig post that they payed him more money to fight AJ but he choose Fury just becos Fury can't punch hard. The truth is they kept him away from punchers.... l won alot of money on parker beating him! He never beat anyone on the same level as Parker and y'all make him favorite!???? 😂😂😂 you guyz were so gullible ... him and Fury played you all. l believe in resume! show me who you beat and l will give you accolades!!! wilder my foot!

Unchecked Rabbit Punches, by the ref in Fury fights caused some noticeable neuro symptoms in Wilder. Muscle weakness in particular(His power is gone). There are others symptoms. He should have never fought after those fights, and he was lucky to get out the Zhang fight without serious injury. Well done, Mr Wilder. Mission accomplished!!!
