Honestly considering that Hisui is just ancient Sinnoh, I'd argue this is a great opportunity to match Let's Go Zorua and Let's Go Riolu. They've got similar star power, on the same level as Eevee and Pikachu.

Respectfully, sometimes theres a reason the "obvious picks" are obvious. Zorua, Litleo, and Yamper are all *perfect* posterchildren for their respective Regions and give the same energy that Eevee does in its game. (Also, not even mentioning Shinx or Riolu in Sinnoh should be punishable by death. /j)

I feel like Riolu would HAVE to be one of the picks for Sinnoh. Although I would love to see it be Gible! Same feeling for Litleo and Skiddo for Kalos.

I think the biggest thing you missed about the lets go games is the move Both pikachu and eevee have moves from their evolutions or forms which I think all the other starters would follow

In my personal opinion it should be Johto - Togepi and Maril Hoenn - Ralts and Spheal Sinnoh - Riolu and Gible Unova - Zorua and Axew Kalos - Pancham and Dedenne Alola - Rockruff and Vulpix Galar - Wooloo and Morpeko Paldea - Lechonk and Fidough Johto- Pikablue>Wooper Hoenn- I just feel Ralts will show more emotion(and sell more) than Shroomish Sinnoh- Sure Bidoof is a big meme but it's more or so common in the older audience and you have to remember that this is more for children, children won't understand the meme as much as we do and Riolu is just a perfect Canidates. Unova - Axew is basically a Iris' starter and Zorua is just as perfect as Riolu is in Sinnoh Alola- I would say Meltan but Vulpix is just a better counterpart to Rockruff Galar - I know Morpeko isn't a pre-Evo but I feel it is better Known and accommodates for both Girls and boys Paldea - I just feel Lechonk is more wanted in both the young and older audience then smoliv since it won't evolve into Oinkolonge. Hisui- I doubt we would get a Hisui let's go but you had to do one since you said "Every Region" and I agree with you on Growlithe and Zorua.

I don't think every region has Pokémon that are popular enough and/or are relevant/big enough to be starters for Let's Go games. Pikachu and Eevee were obvious choices, they're both mascots of the franchise and have been since the very beginning. Sure, Wooper is loved amongst Pokémon fans, but it doesn't feel like a mascot, it doesn't really have any significant appearance anywhere, unlike Togepi. Zorua would be a great pick for Unova considering it has its own movie, and was promoted as a sort of "special" event Pokémon when Black and White were released. For Sinnoh, I would either go with Riolu and Munchlax, or Mime Jr and Bonsly. Starting in 2004, all of them were heavily promoted in movies, in the anime, as well as in gen 3 spin-off games before Diamond and Pearl were released. (Riolu wasn't really seen before DP came out, it was Lucario that was promoted, but I believe the point still stands)

7:25. Completely justified. If Let’s Go is supposed to induct players coming in from Go and ease them in, why not the one who eased Lillie out of her fear of Pokémon?

My takes: Togepi and Wooper, Ralts and Spheal, Budew and Gible, Zorua and Axew, Amaura and Tyrunt, Bounsweet and Rockruff, Yamper and Wooloo, and Charcadet and Smolliv. On a side note, I think if there were to continue making Let's Go games, they wouldn't go in chronological order for the most part and instead do Johto, Alola, Unova, Sinnoh, and Paldea in that order.

One big problem: In the Let’s Go games, instead of being in a Pokeball, the partner is perched on the trainer’s shoulder. I feel like they’d continue this in future Let’s Go games. And… Wooloo is a bit too big to be perched on the trainer’s shoulder. You could replace it with any honorable mention or even Applin.

for sinnoh i got the idea of riolu and buneary i think the idea of pokemon normally evolving by friendship would fit well also, both eevee line and pikachu line have friendship based evolution

I doubt it'd fit the popular part, but I think deino would make a good let's go game instead of darumaka, along with riolu fitting better than gible or bidoof

I think that, in all of the regions, I only like one of them. -> Johto: well, this is one of the most accurate ones for me. Togepi is my favorite pokemon, so, I can't be unbiased. But, Wooper is a meh over Marill. But, I get the point for not cloning Fairy. But, I'd said Swinub. Three stages, third of them in Sinnoh. -> Hoenn: Spheal is a perfect one and I wouldn't have thought on it. But Shroomish... I don't see here the mascot thing, except it's a very common adventure partner. Going for the obvious pick, I'd say Ralts, a fan favorite. But, a weird choice for me is Roselia, or a less obvious one, Swablu. Oh, am I telling Wally's team? Well, why not Plusle and Minun? -> Sinnoh: Bidoof is a meme and would be a clear pick. But, I can't agree with Gible. It's not cute bc of being fun. Instead, I'd say Croagunk or Shinx so clearly... or Chatot... or Buizel... Or we can cut Bidoof and say Mime Jr. and Bonsly, or Riolu and Munchlax... Man, there were a lot of options in Sinnoh. -> Unova: Zorua is a really clear choice here, I don't get why it isn't the starter. Axew is the other one, the only non pseudo legendary Dragon you could find, being even an starter in a PMD. But, Darumaka is a good choice, I don't know if it's so beloved. Joltik, ...why. I love Joltik, but not for being an starter. Even Vannilite is a better choice here. Klink could cover the steel gap. -> Kalos: well, I'm astonished Espurr didn't make the cut even in the honorable mentions. I don't like both of them, but, I agree with Pancham. But why Inkay? Where is the popularity here? The unique evolution? I'd prefer Goomy, Flabébé, or, talking about Steel, Honedge. While it's not cute, Aegislash is a really popular pokemon. And, man, going on adventures with a little sword fits so perfect. ->✓Alola: ehm... these two are okay, but... Rockruff is really obvious, while Ice Vulpix is... a variant. So, banning Poipole, let me say Pyukumuku and Mimikyu would be so perfect, and representative for Alola. If you want first evos, then Bounsweet or Mudbray. -> Galar: well, Wooloo has been fun, and I accept. But Hatenna... mmm... it's kind of a Ralts. Any of the honorable mentions here are better for me. So, if we can take variants, Galarian Zigzagoon is really representative. If not, then Impidimp covers really well all the three topics. -> Hisui: it's not like the variety is high here. But, man, Hisuian Zorua and Growlithe are really cool options. I don't think Hisui should have its own Let's Go, though. It's not different from, you know, Sinnoh. -> Paldea: mmmmm bro, Smoliv is a really solid pick, and Fidough is not a bad choice, but, where is Tinkatink? And Tandemaus? And why Pawmi is not a pick? And, let me say, Greavard and Maschiff are also very good candidates.

I'll be honest, Joltik over Axew and Wooloo over Toxel feels criminal, I think it's reasonable with Joltik for the bug type, but Toxel would've checked so nice the poison type

These picks are super fun! I wonder what it would’ve looked like if you didn’t try to cover a bunch of types; after all, the main three starters of every region share the same type, so dupe types feel very plausible.

I think there's an implicit argument as to why there will not be another Lets go game based on the existence of this video. The lack of clarity in easily deciding who the starters would be. Your average person might not recognize these pokemon and likely won't buy the games as a result

The pair gotta roll off the tongue so the little kids can yap the names faster and consistently until the parents buy the games (not that the millions of copies sold are in doubt, just extra security). I think you’re really overlooking a lot of Sinnoh candidates. Riolu and Buneary are both choices that rival any (evolutions are super popular, Buneary was a main character in the anime) but there’s also Shinx, Munchlax, Buizel, Pachirisu, and even Croagunk works pretty well.

But Pikachu isn’t a first form… Here are my picks knowing that Pikachu isn’t a first form Johto: Marill and Togepi Hoenn: Plusle and Minun Sinnoh: Pachirisu and Riolu Unova: Emolga and Minccino Kalos: Pancham and Dedenne Alola: Togedemaru and Mimikyu Galar: Morpeko and Yamper Paldea: Fidough and Maschiff Hisui: Growlithe and Zorua (agreed with you)

The thing is that Pokémon Yellow is called Pokémon Pikachu in Japan. My guess is that the Let's Go series might continue as remakes of the last version of the generational games.

I would love another Let's Go game! They are so pretty and the Johto region would look so good, plus we'd (hopefully) have breeding to add replay value! Aside from how weak the trainers are my biggest issue is that you cant breed eggs to get Pokemon like Farfetch'd for Pinsir until so deep into the game. It ruins a lot of team building. I think the only way to get later game pokemon at low levels is to transfer from go to a different save, then trade them if you want to start your adventure with anything different... >:(

I think Riolu would be good for sinnoh. It's iconic and maybe it would be respected more. It is a baby pokemon, but they can buff it to reasonable stats.

Okay gen 5 should have had Dwebble over Joltic hands down. As Dwebble is without a doubt the most adorable bug type that has ever been. And is a million times more expressive.

I'm sorry but it just feels wrong that Croagunk isn't there, not even as the poison type filler, it's just so iconic, also with Brock and Looker (in the manga) having one.

i was totally expecting shinx for sinnoh, but gible is a great pick too, it's big mouth is so endearing! i see your points for hatenna, but paired with wooloo it just feels unbalanced. i can picture hatenna paired with impidimp, dreepy, or toxel, or wooloo with snom, but wooloo and hatenna don't mesh particularly well with each other to me. i can't believe helioptile and skrelp got a mention but noibat didn't! it definitely feels like it has mascot potential to me.

Overall I love the list but I have a few preferences over yours (no hate, just want to share my opinion and comment for the RU-vid algorithm!) Joltik is only 2 inches tall so you either have it not to scale or it’s too small in my opinion. I’d love axew. Really cute, pseudo mascot with Iris’s in the anime (I think that’s her name). I think goomy would be hilarious in Kalos. And in Galar, I’d love impidimp. Maybe a little too mischievous for your vibe, but it’s adorable and one of my favorites. So it is my choice. I love your sinnoh picks, wouldn’t change them but shinx deserves that honorable mention!

Actually, I would put poipole for alola instead of vulpix. It would also have some neat lore as how mc gets it and considering how poipole is already a starter pokemon in its own dimension, similar to pikachu in yellow. Alternatively, could nake some extra ultra lets go game where poipole and cosmog are starters

Gen IV probably should have had Munchlax instead of Gible. I love Gible, Chomp Squad all the way, but Munchlax is a definitive Gen IV pokemon, even if it evolves into a gen 1 mon.

Hoenn: The 2 obvious picks Sinnoh: There’s too many options, and none stand out. You could do anything here and it would work. Riolu, Bidoof, Munchlax, Buizel, Croagunk, Pacharisu, or Gible would all make great mascots. I just like Shinx and Buneary was a main character in the anime. Unova: This is my most unusual pick, but I really like the light/dark aspect here. Cinccino isn’t a 1st stage but it’s as small and cute as one. Its stats aren’t that good either. Kalos: 2 obvious picks, not many options Alola: Only 2 good options. Mimikyu is insanely popular but the point of the Pokemon is that nobody notices it. Putting it on the cover kinda ruins that. Galar: 2 easy picks. Hisui: literally only 2 options Paldea: The only other choice is Lechonk, who is well liked but I think is too gross for mass-appeal

I really doubt Let's Go will become a series like this because they were just remakes of Yellow. Instead a Let's Go game would have to focus on the other cover mons like Suicune

I just wanna step in and say Inkay is actually a terrible choice. As seen in the Anime the range of expression is more limited then one would expect. A Better choice is a compliment to Pancham with more expression since the pokemon in question was OVERLOOKED by yourself. Noibat would be a far better choice as we saw them in the anime have big personalities just like Pancham has with both being a darker colour scheme and having a more serious feel about them making them complimentery pokemon similar to how Eevee and Pikachu are also complimentery pokemon to one another. Plus the two are both duel typing and have rather intimidating evolved forms
