When my young family was having a hard time I decided to cut mini roses from the bushes in front of my rental home (they grow back) and have my little boys give them to people in a nearby nursing home. I will never forget the way one woman in the rec room was sitting with her hand over her eyes when I touched her shoulder and my four-year-old son handed her a flower. I wish I could make everyone that happy every day.
