I stumbled on your channel a couple of months ago and it inspired me to get my 2 year old into pokemon. She loves the show now and I have just started buying booster packs for her. I just bought my first pokemon cards pack and for my first pokemon cards pack I chose a jolteon GX tin and I pulled my first ultra rare which was a full art machamp GX I got pokemon cards today because I wanted to see how fun pokemon is and it is fun. I think its because it's a older set that is every where and it's hard to pull good stuff and the cards are not that valuable but I actually love the set because of the artwork. To each ones own. You can like what ever set you like

@@unlovablepanda1165 There's also the fact the cards in the set aren't very playable in a Pokémon tcg game setting so that's probably plays a part to why a lot of Pokémon tcg collectors don't like it.

Its mainly because it was just printed so often and packs of it were everywhere at a time. This lead to more of the good cards being pulled, decreasing the value. I think steam seige is a good set tbh because it has some good art, its just people who dont value art in a pokemon card as highly would rank it as the worst deck because the cards arent worth a lot.
