That thing is BEAUTIFUL! It's basically impossible to find one of those in Michigan that only a little rust, let a lone none. You can find 50 of them a day, if you go out somewhere, but never in this good of shape. GOOD JOB!!
I love these old-school GM pickups and love the new startup chime a whole lot better than that original buzzer chime. Love how everything is turning out so far on this truck. 🙌🙌🙌👍👍👍🏻🛻👨🏻🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔩⚙️⚙️⚙️⚙️
That’s a great truck you have there Kyle. I was also born in 89, so I remember these trucks being around a lot when I was a kid. Also, I think replacing that door chime with the one you have now was a good call. I’ve always hated those mid80s to mid 90s Chevy buzzer’s that don’t cut off.
Man, this is what HARD WORK pays off with! Man, that looks outstanding! Being me I wouldn't have known the engine was even replaced. I love the look of Stock so much! Especially these trucks are now 20+ years old. Rarely do you ever find them stock & nowadays when you do Big $$$. Love it that you wanted to keep it stock & Simple, Just drive it as is.
welcome back to uploding bro, congrats on the new business you and joe started, when do you expect to make a full garage tour video, I have a suggestion for your shop, install a winch to get a non running car in the garage without pushing it. I wish you could start another channel just for your business. I can't wait to see a review on that 33 pontiac. My mom owns a 2018 jeep wrangler just like you, lets be jeep pals. Are you and your wife planning to modfy her jeep
I just bought a 1999 Tahoe LT 4x4 and I love it! It’s a rust free, truck 174K, needs intake manifold gaskets but is the cleanest one in New England. I would love to see more of this beautiful K1500 Kyle!
Nothing like a good GMT400 pickup. I have one of these, 2WD. You can easily put several hundred thousand miles on it without much fuss. I've had mine for years, and love driving and maintaining it. Excellent job on your truck!
Awesome Job! Love these trucks. Finally somebody who replaced the ever annoying buzzer. I think it would be cool to get one of these and put a newer (2014-2018) style interior in one!
The truck looks nice Kyle, I'm glad it got its "new" engine, and it runs very good. Those old Chevy's are truly "Like a Rock!" I also liked the exhaust setup you put on the truck with the quad tips, and it did sound good straight piped earlier.
Dude right?!?! I have never heard one of these sound like this. The crackles and pops are so freaking cool, but the best part is it's not like that while driving. It's doesn't "clap" like a lot of other trucks are. Would recommend 100% if you want a great all-around sounding muffler.
Driving the truck probably brought back good memories I'd paint it and keep for an extra car if necessary u sell it u may not be able to get a nother one in good condition like this one looking forward to the detailing video
I honestly know nothing about Fords. I gravitated towards Chevy/GM because that's what I really started learning on so it's what I'm comfortable with. However, it would be nice to get more experience on other things over time.
@@saabkyle04 when i was 9 we inherited my uncles 1993 Gmc Sonoma SLE 4.3 2wd Auto that needed a bunch of work. Then my brother unfortunately took it and traded that in for a 2017 Toyota Carolla. Sadly and happily bought my 2002 Ford Ranger XL 3.0L v6 2wd Auto Regular Cab Long Bed with 179k miles. I owned it for the better part of 5 years, drove me everywhere. It was totaled on Sept 26th 2021 when a driver ran a stop sign and i smacked into him, both air bags deployed. It died with 238,858k original miles (Engine, Trans, Driveline). Luckily in March of 2020 i bought my 1993 Ford F-250 XLT 5.8l v8 351w 4x4 Auto w/284k miles. So now she's my new daily, but boy let me tell you she's a gas hog lol.
My dad has a 1990 c1500 with the TBI 350...currently sitting at 654k miles on the original motor...he's got a flowmaster exhaust in it, sounds similar to this truck...those old Chevy small blocks sound better than any of the modern V8s from ANY manufacturer, GM included. The 5.3s just never sounded as good imo. They have more of a buzzy sound and my 2000 c1500 has a really bad drone sound (with flowmaster) at highway speeds that these old 350$ don't have
Hope all is well. Like the truck too. Good find. But I don't get it as a RU-vidr like yourself; I was expecting a video working and installing the engine and cleaning up the bay area.
Hey there love your videos, I was just watching your 240sx video on doing the front and rear brakes! I’m also trying to do the rear and was seeing where or if you made that rear bracket to help fit the calipers in the back. I would love to purchase that or get the dimensions of the bracket if possible, thank you !
Hey man I would not of changed that buzzer to me I loved that just constant buzzer I never thought it was anoyying because I'm anoyying myself but yeah you do you and I want that fucking truck
What manual transmission and differential oil does it have? I have a 1995 Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup, a 305 tbi 5.0-liter 8-cylinder engine, 238 thousand kilometers and I don't have the vehicle manual. They are the same models from 1988 to 1995.
Ok how do you change the buzzer/seatbelt chime?? I'm kinda sick of my Nissan Frontier sounding like a kitchen timer. Think I can swap it for the 2016 Range Rover Sport chime sound? Lol but seriously, how do you change that??
