My son’s 16, he’s been in training for 10 years on our personal properties and some neighbors houses. He mows our lawn consistently every week. This is the 1st year he’s doing it for hire. So far he’s had 2 paid jobs, and 1 turned into a consistent biweekly. My dad trained him well, as the only black folks in the neighborhood, my dad never wanted to be “that house”. My father passed 2 years ago, passed on his John Deere and 3 Honda Powered push mowers. Music production is his 1st love but I’m so grateful to see him making money off his well earned trade of knowledge. Makes me a proud mama!!
