I recently picked up a long flowing lined skirt at a Thrift store and I'm going to use the lining on a sewing project I'm working on & it would be a great lining for your cape. Next time you go to the Thrift store look at skirts. Have a peaceful Thanksgiving & be safe.

I managed to get rid of all my wool and leather over a period of time. Also I think that pearl ingredients make a product not suitable for us - it is an animal product!

Thank you Cali; I was so worried after I had posted that you would think I was being judgemental which I so wasn't .....I gave my leather boots to charity and we never really get weather that is cold enough for big wool sweaters so that's ok!..... I would be most interested to hear what the company say about the pearl thing.....we are all learning and growing all the time and as I learn I hope I can share with others without sounding too holier-than-thou......many many blessings to you my American Sister xxxx
Oh no Cali, my sister and I both had Chronic bronchitis as kids and although it went away for years both of us smoked and Jenny has had her lungs drained a couple of times (she's not stopped smoking) I have asthma and COPD and I stopped smoking using vaping around four years ago. I have the flu jab every year and the vaping thing is just something to play around with now because it's similar to a cigarette, I find I don't need nicotine just something that tastes like coffee or caramel and I am hapoy. This chest paim, you can't ignore it, I did Biochemistry and I am a lousy know it all patient, but when your lungs are not working properly I get so frightened by how little exertion it takes to make you feel like you just can't breathe. I now use the daily inhalers (not im summer still) but I have had a couple of scary experiences which have made me start taking the daily inhalers as soon as I have had my flu jab and carry on until the spring and most of the cold viruses are past. I think you have to listen to your body. I am in my late fifties (hanging on by my fingernails. ..I don't Feel my age so it's difficult to Act my age...but once you are on the run up to sixty I think that its wiser to at least try to go along with your doctor. I still prefer my herbal remedies for myself and my menagerie (the feral cats and urban foxes included) I do tend to prefer things like honey and lemon and vegetable glycerine for coughs and take herbs and Omega 3 vitamins and minerals and the cats and foxes get garlic and fish oil capsules along with herbs and chaga and other stuff to keep strong immune systems and I also treat minor ailments and injuries (I never use a plant on animals without checking the charity veterinary surgeon to make sure that it isn't toxic to cats or dogs/foxes....I know what works for me so I just boost my immune system and take what makes me feel better. .ginger is really good for colds as you probably know. I hope you get well soon because I don't like any form of chest pains! I am obviously writing a bloody book again so I will go and in case I don't get another chance, I wish you and your loved ones a fantastic festive season and a healthy, happy 2918 xx
