It feels almost a little blasphemous to say I no longer want to pursue the FIRE movement.😄 BUT I think it just makes the most sense for me and my life to put the dream of financial independence and retiring early on the backburner - for NOW! Or at least scale it back to a pace and in a way that feels much more enjoyable. I actually like working (when the job is actually aligned to my passions and the things I care about) but what I've been missing is actual work/life BALANCE and meaningful work!! That's not always easy to find, especially in this current job market. But I am going to try my best to find happiness in balance and find work I don't want to run away from while I build my dream personal/home life on the side.🐟🌲
