You also have to take into account how unflattering mugshots are. The height matches.

It's not fool proof, especially with a forward chip ejection tap (most common), but it does a pretty decent job.

It's a street bike, not a track bike. It would only need to pass state inspection which is required once a year for registration. To pass they only check lights/mirrors/brakes are working and your tires are decent but even then, they'll pass you. Also for turn signals, if they're not on the bike you can pass, but if they are on it they need to function to pass. This is because you can use hand signals. Also, this bikes condition could have been well after the ride in Colorado. If it could be used against him as you suggested, there's no way to prove it was in its current condition at that time. As Jake said, there's no way he could've done that firing on 3 cylinders.

@@HondaAholicbud you missed the whole point of the comment. The bike is in horrible condition, potentially to the point of being unsafe. A prosecutor could use these videos as catalogue of all of the defects of the bike. Just because a motorcycle passes a street inspection does not mean it is safe. A track however does a more stringent inspection, and the fact that this bike has passed a track tech inspection would help to refute any claims about this bike being unsafe. I didn’t know such a simple concept could be misunderstood, but here we are.

@jth_printed_designs oh no, I get what you're saying, but your idea of it being "track" inspected and being used as evidence is a bit silly. Ignoring that part though, you obviously didn't understand my last point. You can't prove the bike was in the condition it's currently in at the time of the ride in Colorado which was recorded awhile ago. Regardless, this scenario won't happen.

@jth_printed_designs You know what, let's go back to your statement.. "Just because a motorcycle passes a street inspection does not mean it is safe." The whole purpose of the state inspection is to make sure its safe for road use. That's why it's called "State Safety Inspection". So care to elaborate? And don't give no BS about how motorcycles aren't safe and blah blah, because that part is irrelevant. A smart car isn't safe either.
