Giyuu’s entire backstory: Giyuu became an orphan from a young age as his parents died to an illness both he and his sister tsutako lived in their estate they lived happy until a day before tsuatakos wedding a demon attacked their estate tsutako died protecting giyuu and when giyuu tried to tell everyone it was a demon no one believed him one single bit they deemed him as insane and sent him to a docter far far away from his home giyuu with this knowledge ran away during the trip he fell of a mountain almost dying until a hunter found him and gave him to urokadaki there he met as u know Sabito and they trained together and became best friends But then during the finale selection giyuu was badly injured and Sabito was killing demons Sabito gave giyuu into the care of another boy and went to kill the hand demon but his sword broke and Sabito died by getting his head crushed giyuu becomes a Hashira but he feels unworthy cause he didn’t do anyhting to stop the people he loved from dying especially Sabito as Sabito was Hashira level at the finale selection Sabito had potential to be the most powerfulest hashira Giyuu has survivors guilt and is also believed to be s*cid*l Everyone doesn’t understand him except TANJIRO and he is constantly put down by other Hashiras such a Iguro and Sanemi :( Shinobu wants to be friends with him and doesn’t mean anything she’s says but it may still be hurting him she says things like : “this is why none likes you” Be carful what u say to somone cause if you throw a rock in the ocean u don’t know how deep it goes same with words towards people But he enjoys shinobus company confirmed in bio book So I hope this helps you understand ! Also wait for all the other Hashiras backstories there’s is 10x sadder
