From genius lyrics : In his Instagram post, Gjon himself explains how Silhouette came into life and the meaning behind the lyrics. Apart from being a war-themed song, Silhouette also has real-life meaning for the artist. As he repeatedly stated in his live videos and as it is featured on Gjon’s Tears Daily’s entries and Gjon’s current label Jo&Co’s tweet, the story of the song can be traced back to the time of Kosovo war when his grandmother told her son to leave and build a life somewhere that he can be happy so Gjon’s father moved to Switzerland.

Why are people saying that he should go back to Eurovision straightaway? He's too good to become the Swiss Valentina Monetta. He already impressed the Eurovision fanbase with two great entries, better now to release an album, tour and develop as an artist outside of it and I say that as a Eurofan.

I agree and also why Swiss tho? Iirc he is living and working in France now. His Swiss chapter of life is over. Even if he'll want to come back to ESC in several years when he will grow as an artist he better represent France or Albania. I feel like that kind of talks are extremely disrespectful towards Swiss music industry as well, Switzerland has tons of amazing talented artists, and y'all are talking as if he is the only worthy artist they have, smh.

@@voloshanca France and Albania have TV shows to pick their entry. French people in particular are so patriotic, I don't think the public would choose someone who already went for another country. In Switzerland the broadcaster chooses. So if he did want to return, it would be more straightforward to get picked by the team he already knows then to compete against many other people in a TV show. Also I read in an interview that he travels between the two countries regularly. But I agree that it would be good to see another side of the Swiss music industry rather than having the same person 3 years in a row.

I am going through hard times. The past 2 months have been with ups and downs to be honest. And right now I am feeling really really low. Not gonna lie, I just saw this on my recommendations, closed my eyes and cried. I cried for my feelings I couldn’t describe. I know very little French, but I was able to somehow understand a few words, and that was enough. Thank you!
