For clarification to anyone confused, you open your backpack and open the terrain tool like you’re going to put a mod on it. Hover over the mod you want to turn off and press the interact key. (F by default)
I can't believe how old this game is! I just found it and started playing it. You have helped me so much trying to make sense of what I need to get, how to find the information and so on. The only thing that is driving me crazy is how you get your platform so level!! I've tried so many times and have totally messed up my bases. LOL You make it look so flawless!! 😭
I found out about a stronger from ssundee, and it was sobasicbackthen! I started playing it a week ago,A d it was so complicated, but Z1 helped me figure it out! Also, he places his platform on the platform next to him while its still packaged to make it so organised.
when i was reading up for a trip to glacio for argon so i could make steel for a hydrazien thruster, i was on novus i ended up just finding some steel in a wreck. Now i got a hydrzien thruster for basicaly free.
Why not put the oxygenator on the ship so you can tether to it and get oxygen and power from the ship? Then you wouldn't need the generator. Is it because the ship doesn't provide enough power?
You can put the oxygenator on a platform and it doesn't require power, he just does it this way that way there is an oxygenator there and he doesn't have to use the space in the shuttle next trip.. set it and forget it
I found a cheat for atmospheric resources. As long as you have a partly filled container of the gas then you can do it. Step1: put the resource in the chemistry lab. Step2: save and quit. Step 3: wait five minutes at least and log back on. The container will be full. This may not work on pc or play station but it works on Xbox. 🙃
Z, try to slide down the ramp again, right from the top. Then, while still sliding, you need to jump at the same spot as the last time. Probably your momentum from sliding killed your robot.

@N1. I think the graphite/thruster glitch is worth it! If you think about it, graphite is made in the soil centerfuge so technically the thruster only costs 1 soil canister!!
z1 don't put the oxygenator on a small playform. put it in the shuttle until youre ready to go so when youre connected to the tethers youre getting power. the shuttle gives off power.
Early game storage idea??? Drill holes straight down and just throw ya resorces down the hole? Each hole is a different resorce. Could even have platforms along the surface with each type of resorce to show what’s down in the corresponding hole?
Hey Z1 very new at this. I made the buggy... The right wheel always sinks into the ground.. I have to dig a tap then back up and hope it don't happen again.. is it bugged? I'm on the Xbox. Lol also away from a tether, with no power source.. my power isn't draining. That's weird. And I'm not in creative
Hey Z1 and mrs Z1, I know its a huge job, but Im curious about a raid defense in scrap mechanic survival. Make a 1 block wide and 3 block high wall around a farm, and 1 block gap and a new wall around, 1 block gap, new wall, and so on, until you cower the area they spawn at. Will that prevent a raid?
My large rover is powered by 2 medium batteries and 16 small wind generators and it's all on one large storage, it's good as I don't plan to bring it off planet until I have rtgs.
in further episodes u can drive a rover on glacio and let mrs z on the rover (alone),put the dynamite to good use (on the rover) and blame it on the explody plants(atrox is another option)
Seeing the solar array in the research options literally brought the older times where people would nab the giant partly damaged solar panel for their base XD
The way to make the ultimate car is that all you need is a power thing that powers your vehicle and then you just need a drill and then you just need like a big thing to store all the things that you mind and then as deep as you want
The O2 generator or how its called Is Just an tree that eats CO2 and Uses water and Uses an glow stick that for light and at the end there's O2 or the O2 generator haves an self generator
It is there but there is a lot close to the core there is also graphite and astronium down there like all the resources found on that planet are down there. So it is extremely convenient.
