Guys a very tragic announcement but a fan of the club famous for being on the footage of Darren Ambrose' goal at Old Trafford in the Carling Cup has sadly passed away. The footage of him celebrating the goal is synonymous with this game and sums up everything it is and was to be a Palace Fan. I didn't know Mark but I felt his passion and it is devastating that he is no longer with us. RIP Mark ❤️ twitter.com/rednbluearmy1/status/827191215628107776
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--QE9ZuTAhmw.html a link to footage of the goal and of Mark celebrating with his kids. His face tells the whole story.
Ur fans are absolute quality. Create a quality atmosphere. This is from a everton fan keep it up and also loved it when u messed there title up last year that was quality and when u beat them 3-1 other weekend. Respect to the palace fans
My father first took me to Selhurst Park back in the late 60's. They played Glad All Over ever week. All the children would hit the advertising boards in time with the music. Great memories of players like Don Rogers, Peter Taylor, Mel Blyth, John Jackson et al. I'm so pleased to see this video of the Palace Fans singing an anthem from my childhood and the anthem of Crystal Palace. I hope one day to be able to get back and sample the atmosphere once more. Thank you so much for posting this video. It brings back many fabulous memories of my father, uncle and the Crystal Palace Fans we saw every game.
I like the Palace fans doing this Ultra stuff, it's something new init.. All this "oh how dare you it's un-english shite".. Lay off. It's new, it's passionate, it's loud as fuck and it provides a decent atmosphere! Respect from an LFC fan! =)
Used to go to Palace games all the time in the late 60`s and 70`s and always had this song playing as the players came out onto the pitch. Lots of memories from those times !!!!!!! John Jackson in goal and the likes of Don Rogers etc..Happy Days. Living in Sydenham at the time and my uncle jack stone, ex F.A referee used to take me to selhurst park most match days. So pleased that they still play this to this day as its the `Eagles` Anthem.!! Come on you Palace.!! Thanks for posting this Jamie.
Nice to see fans of other clubs commenting nice stuff about our fans, it's what I love about football! I'm going to the game against Villa so I will get a couple more video's of the Holmesdale Fanatics and upload them. Meanwhile, if you love Palace, you can follow me on Twitter, football is pretty much all I talk about! twitter.com/JRLJamielin18
Fantastic old skool stadium with the best SUPPORTERS in the English Premiership. I support Bohemian FC in Ireland but have been to Selhurst Park many, many times and sat in every stand. I remember last season you were bottom of the league and Keith Millen was trying to steady the ship you were playing someone in the top 8 and as I watched MOTD i was in absolute AWE at your support, getting behind your team when they needed you most. If it was Newcastle, Tottenham or Middlesboro fans they would of fucked off along time ago but not Palace.... As loyal as Lassie. I told all my friends on Facebook to watch the repeat of MOTD in the morning and to LEARN from Palace supporters what SUPPORT is all about and not Glory fucking hunting. A huge Big Up from Dublin, Ireland :)
Was fortunate enough to visit my first ever BPL game last Saturday against Chelsea, What-a-GAME! Looks like I'll be heading to Crystal Palace a lot more often the next years. Cheers from the Netherlands! :)
Patrick Henry ye when I'm older, I'm surely gonna go to a place game possibly at home to experience the atmosphere it's like I'm a plastic fan but I'm a plastic fan because of the *FANS* YOUR ATMOSPHERE IS A VERY UNIQUE ONE TO BE IN THE ENGLISH LEAGUE -LFC FAN.
Such an awesome atmosphere at Selhurst Park and the fans are so cool. I remember last season saw Palace fans singing all the way from London Bridge to Emirates
Wish we had Ultras at the Arsenal... Born in South London (Lambeth) and grew up just across the road from where Palace trained on Copers Cope Road. Think they still do train there in Beckenham. Anyway, I love the Palace fans, everyone I speak to agrees that CPFC have the best fans in the league. Keep it up! Also loving the amount of respect being shown from fans of other teams. Warms the heart.
Palace fans are great. I'm a Norwich fan and the atmosphere at Carrow road is amazing and the atmosphere here matches that of the canaries faithful. Well played palace fans and hopefully Norwich will be playing here soon so I can see this amazing atmosphere for myself
Got to say Palace do have some good fans like. Just got back from the game today and you had a decent number of fans, considering your position in the league, and the fact its 288 miles (5+hours) away. Never stopped singing all game. Should be proud. Hope you's stay up. Good luck for the rest of the season! (Newcastle Fan)
Im a Dundee United fan but spent time in my youth in Southampton. My neighbours had season tickets at palace so i joined in and was hooked on Palace instantly. Love the club love the atmosphere and just relieved the neighbours werent Saints fans!No comparison. Im a proud Eagle now.
Palace have one of the best ear-catching songs in EPL. Glad all over is one among them. From a true gooner fan. Love the atmosphere when you own Liverpool year after year ;)
I crank this song after every palace Win..kinda my own ritual you can feel the energy surging thru you..CPFC til i die and til the end of time you"ll always be mine .......2022/23 is goin to be a special year for CP i can feel it in my soul. top 8 or bust ...
I am from Holland, and the reason i became a Palace fan is a very simple, one. One of my best mates lives in Londen, we came over and wanted visit Chelsea, but a ticket was 50 pounds+, thats almost half the price of season ticket from Ajax..., So we went to London`s lesser gods.I think it was a playoff against Wallsall ?.. almost sure they promoted in that season. After that i never looked back, and am glad all over.
Im a Man United fan and i still think this atmosphere is better than ours. The song is great and suits crystal palace. The stretford end is probably the only great part of atmosphere in old trafford but thats probably because old trafford is alot bigger than selhurst. But if selhurst had 75,000 seats i guarantee the stadium will be very loud and have great atmosphere.
Liverpool fan for life here...Much respect for Palace.. "Glad All Over" is a great tune... Being from the States...I wish we would show this much emotion...Only see it in College seems like...
massive Liverpool supporter and I have nothing but respect for Palace Fans...obviously i'm biased and think You'll Never Walk Alone is #1 but this might be the 2nd best song in football....
