I don’t put stock in early reactions anymore, but Ridley Scott needs another win, so I’m hoping he delivers something well done. I’m looking forward to it enough that I’ll be seated opening night.
That's good to hear the first one is my favorite film of all time I just hope it hits on the same level as the first but hearing this gets me more hyped for it
Yep. Plus we’ve been blessed with TWO top tier animated films this year so far. Inside Out 2 was a well made and well thought out sequel that expands on the first perfectly (and is probably Pixar’s best of the 2020s) and Dreamworks cooked HARD with The Wild Robot. Outstanding animation and great storytelling. Awesome year
I hope so, i like when films that people weren't high on exceed expectations and prove to be fanatic. I remember people shitting on this film so if it proves to be amazing that will be a great story
First reactions don’t usually mean anything. I’ve heard plenty of times about certain movies getting great first reactions only for the overall reactions to be mixed to negative.
I discuss that in the video. This wasn't influencers or from a film festival or the usual elements that dramatically sway reactions. But yes there's reason to be skeptical.
Because of the trash song they used, and you can see they learned. The second official trailer song had your typical "epic" score, without the horrible rap/hip hop of the first trailer.
@@andreimcallister1365 I'm still hopeful for Gladiator 2, I want it to be as good as these early reviews are saying it is. It's not every day you get a 300-million-dollar historical epic set in Ancient Rome directed by the guy who made Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator. This better be good.
Don't jump the gun unless u see it, after joker debacle these reviews might be just marketing gimmick to create early hype by Hollywood to win back viewers for ip movies
