This is the first of (hopefully) many more tributes to come. Before anyone says anything, no, this won't interfere with our regular video essay uploads. A very similar tribute is featured in our video Gladiator: The Birth of the Modern Epic (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NboEajWsoyo.html) So, what do you think? What other tributes would you like us to make? Thanks for the support, guys. We love you! Peace.
A Matter of Film Tribute and/or Analysis for American Psycho (One of my top 5 favorite films) would be great. Rewatching your Tarantino Violence video, seeing Christian Bale in his new movie Vice, and it being close to Halloween made me rewatch it recently. It's a movie which is a political and social satire which is surprisingly relevant today, and a great watch with a terrific performance from Christian Bale.
@@MrSquifler it's a standard movie, but did set the bench mark for modern warfarr movies, is it great? No, certainly not like Gladiator is a great movie
Brilliant movie, well executed and performed. Was watching "Mystic River" again yesterday after many years again and, i honestly believe for some movies you need to get older and wiser to fully appreciate their depth and quality.
What's fascinating is that Maximus is depicted as a moral man while he killed and ordered to kill thousands of men. It's the essentialist idea of the guy "good in himself" independently from anything he does or thinks. Apart from that, your tribute is pleasant to watch.
dont hate, but i would compare gladiator to braveheart. while not historically accurate, still awesome movies and open people up to learning about real history.
