I thought Ryse son of Rome was overdramatizing that stuff with water in the arena but clearly not all of that ish is exaggerated. I never even thought to research confirm because I assumed the sand would absorb the water and collapse the center of the arena or something

I appreciate a trailer review that actually have something to say instead of just hating on the music/woke/accents or just cuz it's a sequel to Gladiator. I agree with dude who said he wanted to see more after watching the first movie. I think the first one set up an excellent world with a theme that can be explored more. From what we know so far the sequel is exactly that. With an Oscar worthy cast (Denzel winner, Mescal nominated, Pascal-possibly nom for this) and epic visuals and director, the only variable is the script. If the script turns out to be what they've been hinting, this can sweep the awards too. I'm can't wait !

I'll probably watch because Denzel & Pedro are in it. Judging by the trailer, the plot of the movies seems chaotic. Also, they switched the actor for the character of Lucius. Too bad they couldn't bring back the original actor to play that character as an adult 😕
I'm going to make a suggestion that I'm almost sure you all will totally ignore... Moving forward, it would be nice if you watched the trailers twice! The first time without saying anything! Then comment on the second time watching. You guys missed very important dialog because all you did was talk over it... It would be to your advantage to just listen. God Bless.
That trailer music was trash. The Hans Zimmer music in the original makes the movie even better. Hope this oneives the same feels. Wish Susumu Hirasawa could do music for a big movie like this. He would kill it.

When the first GIadiator came out, it is true to its core.. but this 2nd one, why even put the HipHop song..........💀They did the same with AC Shadows, the moment Yasuke appear, they pIay a HipHop-ish song, why they have to do that? this aIone shows its for the DEI, not for the story, but onIy for PoIiticaIIy Correct purposes, pandering, its caIIed Wøke. Back in the day we have Djimon Hounsou, aIso a good Biack Actor, and yet no HipHop song.. so why now? yes, because of Wøke, its obvious, pandering.
