The Metalcloak Frame-built Front Bumper is a nice fit on the Gladiator. With several options, this modular bumper offers the consumer a variety of uses and looks. All J Products of Big Bear lake, CA installed the frame-mounted bumper on their Gladiator. Quinn Thomas, owner of All J, walks us through the installation.

Probably updated since this video posted .... from Metalcloak "Note: Shackle points are to be used as recovery points only, the shackle mounts are NOT designed for flat towing"

Great install video! Did you end up using a cut off wheel to cut the frame for the winch install (Instructions Section 2, Step 2)?

I didn't need to on my install. My winch was an older 9.5TI.

Question: I am looking to get this bumper for my JT. I have a Rubicon and it came with the plastic front bumper and steel skid plate. To added the skid plate for an aftermarket bumper I have now, I had to drill out the 2 nutserts on the inside and the 2 nutserts on the outside of each frame horn so 8 in total. Are those needed to mount the skid plate for this bumper? I have no nutserts on the front of them also, but it came that way. At 2:08 in the video, are those left over brackets on the frame horns from the factory skid plate and were removed? Just want to ensure this will bolt right up without the need to find out how to get new nutserts back in or a nut and washer on the back to bolt to. Thanks. Your video is the closest thing to what I need to see this up close and how it mounts.

The MC skid didn't use the inserts at all. Those brackets came off in a later step. I am using the inserts for an air check bracket on the driver's side, and a jumper cable bracket on the passenger side. Awesome bumper btw. I love it and it is still working awesome. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Those outer brackets go away.
