Did you miss my digital suffering? I hope you are not dissapointed, because this wasn't so bad after all. I try not to think about Sunken Library, but sometimes I can hear skulls screaming when I try to fall asleep. And bones screeching. Davkul help me. Please. Wait, what are we talking about again? Goblins, right? Fark them. If orcs at least have enough courage to fight you head-on and oneshot you with Man Splitters, these little abominations will kite you for hours untill you die from boredom. They only real answer to this scourge in an arrow between their eyes. Thank Davkul there is a trophy that gives you immunity to wines and nets. Devs please don't nerf it. You already made Undead Trophy completely useless, please don't do the same with this one. Nerf me instead. I will take any punishment. I will even become a slave on rice fields in southern city-states for eternity. After Sunken Library I don't care. Nothing will make feel pain again.
General Strategy
ALWAYS STAY AT LEAST 7 TILES AWAY FROM THE SHAMANS. EVEN IF IT MEANS GIVING UP THE HEIGHT ADVANTAGE. IF THEY CAST FLIES ON YOU EARLY - YOU ARE DEAD.
Equip the Goblin Trophy to have immunity to nets and wines, take sword and crossbow proficiency so you can riposte every turn or reload crossbow and shoot with Endurance Potion. Every shield except those that are made out of Scrat bark will get destroyed eventually, so take them on your own risk. Attack at night with Night Owl Potion, so Shamans will waste their turns casting Night Vision and that will buy you some time in the start. Find a height advantage position. Without Adrenaline you will have only 1-2 turns to do it, depending on your luck. Kill melee units first and focus goblins that can penetrate your armor with curved daggers. (Reproach of The Old Gods doesn't work on Riposte now, so don't bother taking it with you). Drop your sword and shield and swap to crossbow. Then start killing Overseers and all remaining melee units that will approach you now. Remember that you can shoot crossbow even if you are already engaged in melee, but not reaload it. Finish all remaining archers and prepare for Shamans to start casting flies on you. Pick up shield from the ground and bury them into the ground. Take the sexiest helmet in the game from their stinky green hands. It shines. It's useless.
