Glam Talk Session 3 | Toya's Message To Teen Mom's 

I’ve been loving Toya from day 1. She’s just genuine and such a kind spirit and of course... love the accent😩🥰 I love people from New Orleans!

I’m 35 and I had my son at 15. He will be turning 21 this weekend and is in the Air Force, and I am Realtor, business owner, and faculty, married w/ two masters degrees. I have no regrets, but I credit my success to my “village” (pastors, teachers, neighbors, aunts, etc) but especially my mom and grandma telling me, “This is your baby. You’re gonna raise him.” And even though they were always there and supportive of me, it made me grow up and take responsibility. Nowadays a lot of these girls are in the streets, partying, living their best lives and having multiple babies and leaving them for their mom and grandma to raise and it breaks my heart. No judgement. But tough love never hurts in the end. Great job Toya! You’re such an inspiration!!! 💕

I was a teen mother and if it wasn’t for my beautiful mother supporting me I don’t know where I would be! I have two wonderful boys....had my oldest son at 15 and then my last 21! My mother never played with me....I came straight from school everyday didn’t go out and party and of course I was mad then but now I look back I’m blessed she did what she did!

Toya I’m a ga peach I’m a Grady baby from 1990. All we did was skating and ride bikes and played tag. We smam and did girls scout but no double Dutch. Didn’t learn to play until I moved to Chicago and the lil girls would say gurllllll where u from u don’t know how to play 😆😆😆

I love double dutching and skating; hopscotch, four square, jacks. I did all that shit went to my daddy’s house every 2 weeks when I was coming up.

I think it was just certain girls who choose not to jump rope. I'm from Dekalb County right next to Atlanta. I would jump rope almost everyday at school or in my apartment complex with my friends.

That's some real shit about being a mom. Whether the father is there or not, you have to take care of your child. I'm so glad I don't want children because some of these men out her are unreliable and I refuse to be a single mom.

When we was growing up down south Plam Beach County that's all we did after school double dutch jumping rope, hot Scotch,skating and jumping board. We didn't have cell phones to talk on going up.We had a house phone with my grandma then play that with us being on the house phone like that you had to go outside and play. I'm like you told you I pray for our generation to get back into doing things like this. 💕🙌💯

In NYC we were double dutching in the late 70s, all throughout the 80s. When we became young adults in the late 80s we stopped doing it. We also had roller skates, bicycles, and mopeds. Wow these kids today are boring.
