Not thrilled about the Glamlite release exclusive to TikTok. It’s not only people outside the US who can’t shop at TikTok. Some of us don’t use that platform at all. Hopefully, it will come to their website because there are plenty of us older folks who have supported the brand for years and should be considered too.

I'm not here for Glamlite trying to create false urgency with their products. No way am I joining tiktok just to buy some freakin' makeup. And hey, I get it, the goal of companies is to make money but when they start doing things like this (exclusive for a tiktok live only), then it makes me think they only care about going viral, not about putting out quality products. I'm not saying I won't buy anything from Glamlite in the future but any brand looking to cultivate a customer base that would probably be found fighting over Stanley cups (or whatever the FOMO product of the week is) isn't really a brand that I'm going to get excited about.

Totally agree!! I’m a Glamlite lover!! I buy every launch, the full PR boxes and have purchased from them since the pizza palette and this is not cool. I don’t have TikTok and I don’t want it. Really disappointing 😊

Was about to post the same thing. Glamlite is supposed to be "all inclusive" but excluded a good chunk of their fan base just to make something viral. That's a bunch of bs if you ask me. Now if they come out and say Coca Cola made them agree to these terms.. fine I guess.. but until then I'll just spend my money elsewhere.

Oh Glamlite.... We need to talk lol. I'm not digging the QVC/infomercial vibes of this launch. The tablet, bag, and cash giveaways turned me off. I guess it works for their younger customer base and they are putting their effort into that demographic. They have a company to grow. I have a lot of Glamlite products, but my enthusiasm for the brand is dissipating. I haven't been happy with their release schedule around Fall/Halloween for the past several years. It's not fun to receive a Halloween collection in November when you want to wear it for spooky season. This Coca Cola collection is another white/red/black color story which they have done variations of this already (Red Velvet Cake, Betty Boop, Nightmare on Elm Street etc.). They are also releasing a Ghost Face Part II that Giselle teased (the two rows she showed were red). I have to drastically reduce my makeup spending and that means most things don't make the cut. I'm moving towards items I find special or interesting (Unearthly Gargoyle palette, Bella Beaute Bar Vamp palette, Wicked Widow Beauty The Crow collection, duochrome highlighters/lipglosses) instead of repetitive collections. Glamlite also eluded to a Bratz collab and possibly another Barbie collab. I love the brand, but I feel the creativity is suffering 😬

That sucks that they only released it only during the live. I don’t buy many collections… at all but I would have bought this. I’m okay with releasing stuff on tictok but ppl work and can’t sit on their phones and watch lives all day. Like me I can’t be on my phone at work. That’s reality stupid

EXACTLY!!! I work at a hospital. I have patients to take care of. I’m not sitting still in one place for even 10 minutes at a time let alone 8 hours to sit in front of a screen and watch a live on TikTok. Can you imagine laying in a hospital bed waiting to get your meds and nobody’s coming because they’re on effin TikTok. Not cool. Not all of us have the luxury of working from home/being in front of a screen all day. In addition to that I don’t have or want TikTok to begin with. My adhd attention span is bad enough as it is I don’t need to make it worse with TikTok

First off, your makeup looks stunning today! When I saw the Coca Cola collab, I was excited to check it out. I don’t do TikTok, and I’m not going to add another rabbit hole to fall down just to shop for items I already know I don’t need. If it works for the company, good for them. I know they’re not losing sleep over me and I definitely won’t lose sleep over them.

Wow. I didn’t expect to come to cry. When you were talking about your grandparents it hit hard. The grandmother I had the chance to get to know passed when I was 17 too, and I could relate to your feelings on that even though it has been 15 years. Then when you were talking about the panic attacks I started tearing up again. I was diagnosed with panic disorder at 20, but I’ve been experiencing them since I was 15. It really does just take a hug and reassurance sometimes. You have convinced me to watch Inside Out 2 tonight. They really do know how to get us with the movies. Lol On another note, I’m not a fan of the tiktok exclusive releases. It reminds me of watching HSN or QVC when I was little. Lol

Gosh dang it! My son is really into creature features right now, so we watched Creature From the Black Lagoon this summer and he loved it. I think it was smart of Giselle to launch on tik tok shop because imagine all the hastle and money she put into the Coke Cola collab and finding out you can't promote through your influencers and creators. She had to do something to recoup some of her coin. I do not have tik tok, but if it was a way to create hype around the products without background checks and who knows what else. Good call.

I thought I finally might try out Glamlite this fall… but this tiktok only release means to me that I will not try Glamlite at all - exactly because of this stupid move. Well, I never had and never ever will have tiktok. Colorpop got so boring… they don’t get my money either. There is nothing in these releases that feels like I would love having it.

Hello beautiful.. I'm so glad you took some time for your own mental health. I know how tough it can be to have a fallout with a good friend.. as for Glamlite Coke cola collection I believe it's a good business move for them because tick tock shop and lives are making a lot of money for merchants and small business but and that's a big BUT .. not everyone is interested in having tiktok and it does exclude people that are not able to have access to tiktok because of where they live . but again, as a business, you'd be crazy to leave out such a huge segment of people knowing that content creators Will be showing the collection in their videos. they created fomo... I can't wait to see the collection

I love your channel, I do not have tik toc so for me it is a waste, I know a lot of people love tic-toc but I also think that a lot of people don’t. I get when influencers switch to short content, I do not watch short content I love my ytube, I miss a lot of people who only do short content but I guess you do what works for them. The Coca Cola release, I will not support it if it’s only on tik tok. Well, I guess I missed it anyway…. I’m tempted to get it if it comes to their website because I always loved Coca Cola when I was young and had glasses, tooth pick holder, crates, and more stuff…. But, I don’t know. You had me laughing about not getting the cinnamon sugar lip thingy (technical term 😅) because you will eat it. I am still laughing at the last time. 😂 I am on a no buy, and it sucks. I am enjoying my Boxycharm, and he let me get the Colourpop Boo next week. The box you got and reviewed. With palettes I don't have. 😂 I keep saying no more, buying eyeshadow for a long time them I get the colourpop ones. I find it hilarious because I also got the Huda Beauty Empowered and honest thought I will try it because that dude one she did was patchy and yucky. Empowered was on Boxycharm, so it was a beauty boost for 25$. I love it so much. One shade that is a cream dried out, but if I wanted, I can chisel... no, too, risky.... I can scrap a layer. BOL, I love you dearly, Allie. Thank you for being so amazing and sweet. 😊❤

Hi Allie, I hope you had an amazing time in Georgia. I forgot all about it because of the hurricane and I was in the path of the hurricane so I didn’t watch it glam light. I didn’t even know that Call was doing a stranger things you’ve been asking somebody to do with the stranger things. So many releases so much money out.

Its a crap move from Glamlite to release only on tick tok and really unfair to their customers i think as well. Also since you were in Georgia i hope you sidnt have any problems and were safe with the big storms ans flooding that just hit here from the hurricane fallout if you were still here at that time.

I didn’t like inside out 2 because of Anxiety (character). I suffer from anxiety too and they did such a good job depicting the emotion that I felt like I was going to have a panic attack myself. It was so hard to finish watching the movie. That said it was a really good movie and my kid loves it.

Um ma'am let me tell you what I've not had a panic attack in years, well I started having them a couple of weeks ago and girlllll..,.. it was the most intense attacks I've ever had it felt like a heart attack and that someone was freezing then burning 🥵 my entire body I haven't been that scared since 14 years ago having my son. But it's something that needs to be not taken lightly bc I can handle some pain and that made me call 911 bc I was so scared.

Literally just watched inside out 2 with my daughter for the first time tonight. I had tears rolling down my face when Riley was having the panic attack. As someone who has also dealt with panic, anxiety, and depression, both of the Inside Out movies have really resonated with me. I can see all these emotions in my daughter as she has gotten older too and they are so on point with how to portray a child growing up (she’s 11 and going through puberty now).

Glamlite hyped up the live and launch so much and I was disappointed. I thought it was boring. They had the same few products on sale over and over and it just felt like they were trying to clear out stuff that wasn't selling. I did manage to get one of their $2 eyeliners so we'll see how that is.

The day of the dead is a special holiday for me. We remember those that came before us in a general sense but also set up an alter with all the photos of our family that have passed on and visit the cemetery if we are able to and there is always a procession between the church and the cemetery. You light candles and pray for the souls of your departed relatives and prepare their favorite dishes. Put out their favorite flowers/decorations and display any keepsakes. We use it as a time to remember all the happy things and to ensure that none of those that passed before us are forgotten. The legend is that on the day of the dead if your family remembers you and displays a keepsake or photo you can come back to earth for a visit for that one day.
