You guys are lucky to get 25000 per club. In Oz for the afl grand final clubs get about the same and the rest go to corporates. And it’s over 100,000 capacity.

Thought McGinlay made a good point about Casteels. When I heard he was on £80k pw am like no chance, even if we offered £35k pw because could create bit of animosity in the changing room. But if we paid him a good wedge for a signing on fee, and pay him £25-£30k pw, then it could be a goer... 8 games against elite clubs in Champions League, 4+ against the manky mob, could sway him, 12 games minimum next season against proper good sides (Maybe not Sevco).. People say who wants to play against St Johnstone etc, but every league has shite teams they need to play, even Bundesliga, for example Darmstadt etc even EPL, Luton and Sheffield United, and teams like Burnley, so could be a goer. 🍀

The only way I see Celtic lose is if we are really wasteful. This is our flaw, we have been found out in Europe recent years for not taking chances. If we are clinical we will do it!

95 percent of Celtic fans were calling him a rat and changed their tune when it was socially fashionable. All along I have maintained that he faced zero domestic competition last time and was routinely humiliated in Europe. That he dismantled Ange's flying machine and turned it into a jalopy. That this season was grim watching and he's the most anti Celtic way manager we've ever had. That suddenly finding form in May to pip a rank Sevco for the "honours" in this farmer's league up here isn't acceptable. That the happy clappers facilitate the cycle of mediocrity. That there has been zero evidence of ambition in the last two windows with Scrooge McDuck money. Why would this one be different? With this current squad, with the likes of Papa Smurf at LB it's going to be cricket scores. WHEN we are humiliated AGAIN in Europe, when we face a REAL challenge I don't want to hear a sylable of complaint from you. If you keep bending over the board are going to keep giving you it. They know you'll settle for the bare minimum.

Rangers got to a Europa final with about 5 freebies, 4 players under 3M & only "big" transfers was Kent & Goldson. So is there last 6 seasons in the Europa been lucky ? Last 16s X2, last 8 & Europa final. So it can be done, without spending about 15M on players. Rodgers won the league on 93 pts, same as Ange 1st season, nobody said we were pish then & even goals scored was 3 more than Ange, that was so exciting tk watch. I think Rodgers can't do anything right in about 60% of fans minds. He went 69 games unbeaten in the league & be truthful, 8 clear with about 9 games to go won 8/8 trophies. It's engraved into Celtic since O'Neill that we won't win away games & even home record was away after Strachan, Lennon had 1 good European campaign out the 3 he had before Rodgers came along 2 seasons later. Rangers during his 1st spell weren't good but Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Hearts & Hibs were far better back then than this season just that Rangers are better but the others who you'd think would be top 6 were no where near and ended up having like a bottom 6 clubs apart from 3 as the top 6

That's what I'm thinking too bud. Law of averages, don't go unbeaten against them 7...9...11 games in a row just like when both are in the league you don't go 4..5...7iar. It's not like we've wiped the floor with them this season, best was 3-3 game & that was the only game we never won. The rest was like, okay we won but fuck me we made it hard, especially twice at ibrox 10 men down and failing to score both after that with them scoring and pushing us back. In my mind I've got Rangers AET but my heart is saying 2-1 too
