Stainless steel scourers are ok on glass take rubber seal off before cleaning and also the racks out. Warm oven up and remove the mess inside. Sink the racks into bags with special cleaner job done.
Good job well done , was cleaning mine last night and just wondered if anybody had any special tips / techniques , but it seems its mostly down to a little heat and degreaser ,and a good bit of hard work with care and attention not to soak the place or cut/ nick any seals , I was using a window scraper the type for taking of paint splashes with the blades that go into cutting knives ( Laurel & Hardi ) not Olly , the other one :-) , thanks for posting :-)
Good job well done but I will say, pointless dry scraping the tray before putting it in the tank, it should all come off relatively easily after a good soak
I wouldn't be happy if somebody cleaned my oven like that,theirs a right way to use a scraper and as for the metal scourer? I think I would prefer my oven unscratched.
There are a few factors in starting a cleaning service from home. One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Ayalisse Clean Biz (check it out on google) definately the most helpful plan that I have ever heard of. look at the extraordinary information.
I have a cleaning company and we use Easy Off Heavy Duty. Spray it on... wait 20 mins... wipe it off. It liquifies the grease and crud. Very little scraping, if any. That junk he's doing is just too much work!
Being a pro cleaner he wasn't about to say what stuff he was using with the scraper or the fluid in the bottle. He can't be a call out pro unless having a heatable steel sink is standard fitting in Glasgow kitchens. Must remember to get one with the new oven

Why have you failed to clean the ceiling of the oven? The oven is not clean until the walls, back of the oven, the floor, AND THE CEILING is cleaned where millions of germ will lurk. Start again and do it properly.
yes they are alot of people cant clean them due to being old or disabled and landlords dont have the time to clean their properties ovens between tennents speaking as oven cleaning company
