I am not really sure about that. Haven't tried that specific tuning on my cittern. It really depends on the string gauges you are using an the scale length of the instrument:)
Mine is tuned CFCGC, so a bit different to the quatro, which is tuned in fourths all the way, if i am not mistaken. But my two lowest courses are toned in octaves as well. So there are definitely some similarities ☺

I tune it CFCGC. The strings are double strung like a mandolin. The two lowest C and F are tuned in octaves with a nylon bass string from a classical set. The steel strings i use are thomastik bronze wound and the gauges are 0.13, 0.18,. 0.30, 0.22, 0.30 and a standard E nylon string for the low f and a Hannabach H9 for the low C.
