I remember I found these guys like 7 years ago. They used to keep me sane during one of the hardest points of my life. I would be driving on lonely roads after graveyard shift and the anger and emotion just resonated so well.

Ger Unkwon Sure thing, my friend. For what I can tell in my short experience watching the behaviour of bands of several music genres, it does not matter how much you bash them. If a band passes the test of time (If you hurry me, I would say 10 years more or less) and demostrates convincely that they love what they do, the tour and the struggle, you reach an 'approved' status. Of course it's not an easy task. In the other hand, look what happens with Meshuggah, or Gojira. They had achieved worldwide recognition and they're somehow in the mainstream (especially Meshuggah), even after the fans or critics bashed them sufficiently for whatever reasons you want.

Parmid Oproxydim Well, i'm still not convinced. The bands that are formed during the 1990's get the "vip pass" to the mainstream area in the metal scene. I can't think of any band that formed after 2001 that gained worldwide recognition and also was not called shit. Meshuggah, or Gojira are perfect examples of bands that are formed during the 1990's that get the "vip pass" to the mainstream area in the metal scene whilst people support them greatly (which they deserve of course). Yet bands that formed after 2001 never get this chance. Even if they got recognized they wold receive negative reviews. Also, another metalhead logic is this: band's oldest albums = best albums. It always works like that no matter the circumstances.

This sound quality reminds me of when I used to record songs on tape from my radio with a missing aerial. It's really quite nostalgic. Crank those lows and mids. Who needs high end anyway :D

for sure! again, i listened to the mix off the album right after I watched this video and definitely heard a big difference. definitely a quality issue w/ the music video. sick band. saw them last week. it was easily one of the heaviest sets I have ever witnessed.

ive seen them live in toronto in september with texas in july They we're one of the best live sets i ever saw, so much intensity and insanity and beauty . Jerry is funny as shit too, and the band are so chill.
