Thank you so much!!!👏🏽…. I purchased some 20oz sublimation frosted tumbler and I had no idea what temp to press them at but thanks to you they came out perfect!!! you’re awesome!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this!! Wished I found this tutorial earlier! I spent a lot of this glass cup for trials and error! Thank you thank you!!! Now I’m obsessed lol! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
I have questions... 1. What design software are you using? 2. When it's a full wrap, do the seams overlap a bit? 3. If the seam doesn't overlap , how do you get the perfect print size, and or how do you set your printer to print the correct size? 4. How fast do you remove the wrap after taking out of the press? 5. Also, why is everyone so varied on temp and time for the glass cans? It's all over the board..
They turned out sooo pretty! ♥️♥️ I just made my first frosted glass tumbler and I too did a pattern with a lemon but it turned out really light so I think I will go for darker colors next time.
Thanks for making this! I've been searching for a good clear video showing the process & results. Have you sublimated any more glass tumblers since this video? I'm wondering if you notice a difference in the way certain colors sublimate onto the frosted & clear.
Yes! Lighter colors don’t show up on the clear so I always try and stay away from them for the clear. The darker the colors the better! Thanks for sharing this
Thank you very much. This is very nice video. Where would I find 4 ounce, 6 ounce and 8 ounce flass jars for sublimation? I am looking for a place to purchase online. Thank you
Is that a PNW press? And do you get tape marks on your cups after it’s been sublimated? Your cups turned out beautiful, my personal preference are the frosted cups, although the design is a bit muted, I think they look beautiful. Thanks for the tutorial.
Hi! It’s from Vinyl Fun! And I don’t ever get tape marks. If you ever get tape marks then you need to reduce your pressure on your press. And I love the frosted as well. The colors show so much brighter!
How do you add media type paper on a MacBook? I don’t have the premium matte paper option. I do have a matte selection option on an espon 2720 printer.
Hi! I use an Epson ecotank 15000! I love it and that it can print the larger sizes! So you technically can put them in the dishwasher. I still always recommend hand washing though. But sometimes things happen and a dishwasher is needed so a random time in the dishwasher won’t hurt it. Epoxy resin cups should never go in the dishwasher though
I know this is from awhile ago, but a couple questions, what sub paper are you using, what ink did you use. where did you get the tape dispenser? I bought one,but it was terrible, so looking for another. thanks, great job btw, I will be trying this on my clear glass because I cannot get it to be right no matter what. :(
Hi!! I am soooooo sorry I am just getting back to you! It was the holiday and then I got super sick so I wasn't able to work at all and am getting caught up! I use a sub paper and printers jack ink! I have everything that I used linked so you can find them easily! They are all 3 from amazon! The tape dispenser I got works sooooo good! I have had some awful ones too so I was so happy to finally find a good one! Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks!!
I have the same heat press...How did you Calibrate yours? I know there are 3 settings on it one for Temp one for time & last but but not least the setting for the what I think they call the RESTING # ??? I'm confused about that one 🤨🤔
Hi! Great question!! I use an Epson Ecotank 15000 that I converted to a sublimation printer and use sublimation printer! You do have to use a sublimation printer for this
I have changed up my tape a little since this video and do as much. Taping is totally personal preference though for sure. I’ve tried so many different ways to find what works best with my press
