JULY 4, 2024: Gleaner journalist Andre Williams shares the team’s experience as blocked roads left them stranded in the community of Mountainside, St Elizabeth. They were given shelter by residents, to ride out the storm, before attempting to make their way back to Kingston. STAR reporter, Simone Morgan-Lindo, said conditions quickly deteriorated in the afternoon and they were unable to make their way out.
