I'm years late to this comment lol but I honestly believe that it was her most underrated solo was because lets be honest, those new kids in new direction ruined season 4 and 5 for us.
Stop kidding yourself. This is amazing, but almost every other character has a performance of a similar or greater caliber. Rachel was just the writer's pet.

This is my favorite Solo from Rachel. You can tell that Lea put all her emotions into this song which is understandable given the fact of what happened to Cory not long before they started shooting Season 5 of the show
There’s a reason 50% of the glee songs were given to Lea, she is absolutely breathtaking. Like no one else i’ve ever seen! Consistently better than the original on so many songs throughout the show, never heard one singer just constantly make me love a song that I didn’t particularly love until she covered it.

Lea Michele had wanted to sing this song for the longest time. Ryan Murphy said she'd be singing this song during the Nationals of Season 3 but changed it to It's All Coming Back to Me Now for some reason.

No dought about it, Lea Michele ak Raychel is a vocal freak with an Amazing vocal range, her notes are pure and you can feel every heart felt note when she sings the song, her hand gestures and facials add to the song being sung. Who ever Raychel/Lea is signing this song to... be it... {Finn/Cory} it's done with such love passion and even drama and it shows the Talent this actor/singer brings to the character in which she plays! True Brilliance at it's best.
