@@deandrecone3613 well Rachel is all those things plus a bully, diva and a horrible human being lol I will take Quinn over Rachel any day. Rachel never did anything to help others that did not result in her gaining something she wanted. Quinn on the other hand blackmailed sue for a year book Paige for glee club! Did she tell anyone or try to profit in someway? No! Quinn helped Mercedes realize that starving her self was not worth it. Did she ask for anything in return? No! Quinn hit on Finn for Rachel cause Rachel asked her to. Did she get anything out of it? No! Yup Quinn was totally self absorbed.
This was such a hot look, it's a shame they didn't have her perform something like Bad Reputation or Just A Girl it would fit perfectly. Glee was full of wasted opportunities...
Honestly, tbf they couldn't show everything throughout their lives in High School, it's some years of duration right? So, theorically this rebellious phase of Quinn lasted for some months probably, and it's implied that it lasted for quite a while showing it in a few episodes. I was sooooo disappointed too when I saw that they didn't explore Quinn going to the hospital and everything after the car accident. But, you know, they had to tell all the story so they couldn't delay having scenes of every small detail. That's why tv shows like Friends are nice to watch, because it's more about the routine of those characters and stuff. Glee had conflicts all the time, and it was meant to tell a storyline of each character. A lot of characters, a damn lot of things happening all the time... it was about the teens and the adults as well. So no wonder we got frustrated because a lot of things couldn't be explored. That's why fanfics exist, thankfully 🙏 I love reading them because they take their time and it's like Season 1 lasts much more than it did in the show, for example. You get to see the characters doing regular things like going to buy groceries, have cozy movies night, have a chat group, spend time with their families, go camping or whatever. Even things like "what if the Glee Club celebrated Halloween, Easter" etc. Common things in shows such as Friends, I've seen that they showed a lot of episodes during Christmas time. Glee managed to do that, Valentine's Day, Christmas but that was it... it was more focused on the songs. And the story naturally happened mostly in school right, around the Glee Club itself, after all the plot was about this Spanish teacher that dreamed of making the Glee Club true in a school with people that would give him a hard time, the principal Figgins (money) and the Coach Sue Sylvester, who wouldn't rest until she ruined the Club, but eventually accepted it. Sometimes I couldn't help but agree with her about certain things... they weren't children but still very young, boys and girls, and Will was brainless sometimes I swear because till today I can't understand why he decided to perform Toxic with the kids 😅 I know it was nice of him to give in and let them perform Britney but I mean, thankfully the actors were already adults because they know that if minors were involved they would have trouble, that performance even had Cory (and his excitement was real 😂) lowering Naya down by her back and her rubbing against him LOL, I even checked it for a few times to see if I wasn't seeing things. And even later, Sue asked Will to stop with the twerking, and she would give Unique a key to go to the bathroom privately and he was like "no". He even had the kids perform Blurred Lines 🤡🤡🤡🤡 and I won't mention how he reacted when the girls were twerking with their cheerleader costumes on. So, yeah, I'm almost 30 now and still like to talk about Glee 😂 one of my regrets in life is that I could've watched it in 2009 when I was 16 but no, I remember that the first scene I ended up seeing was that one Don't Stand So Close to Me and I thought Rachel (Lea) was like 40 already or smth and was so confused LMAO, and I was glad that some people thought that too 😅 well she didn't look older all the time and I was surprised, but her feautures sometimes made her look more mature. And on the contrary Cory was there, I saw him first in the The Only Exception one and I could swear he was no older than 19 (r.i.p...). Well, only in 2012 I realized I liked the characters and the story and I was like 19, already at college. So since it was already Season 3, I was more interested and curious to know about what was gonna happen and just took an overall look through the Seasons 1 and 2. In s3 things were so different already, it was hard to understand that Finn and Quinn were a couple before and that Quinn and Rachel even were enemies because of it 🤡 fighting over him. I know it's strange but anyone starting with s3 would think the same haha. I bet that when people started watching the series, they would never imagine that those cheerleaders Santana and Brittany would end up being a couple, and especially considering that they began as friends with benefits that would "experience" with each other, I bet people thought Santana would end up with Puck (and Naya had a rs with Mark irl... can't imagine how she dealt with those horrible news at the time) and Brittany with some other guy, they were seen as straight girls that would mess around sometimes. But okay, I got over the fact I was slow and didn't appreciate Glee since the beginning, so many things had already happened by Season 3... I was watching South of Nowhere at 15/16 and don't regret it, people displayed links in a online community and I would patiently download every episode, and it helped that it was already finished. In 2012 Glee was like in the middle of the journey and so many things were still to happen. Finn and Rachel even almost got married but she ended up going to NY. So I was very curious about how it would continue and everything. But one day I'm still gonna watch all the episodes. What I love is that, till today, I found out songs from the show that I had no idea that they covered and love that (Uninvited for example). I'm definetely still not done with Glee lol, a song would show up to me and I would get crazy about it and listen to it nonstop. It's amazing that they worked on so many songs, hundreds. I bet there's some that I will still take from the box and love them. It's just heartbreaking that so many tragedies happened with the actors in real life. This will affect us that connected to Glee for a long time, I'm sure.
@@marianar.9966 I think that all the new characters in season 3 were unnessesary cuz literally were A LOT of characters and A LOT of storylines that had to make
sugoi potato how the fuck is that racists, no ones gonna see a white blond girl and say "I thought that was Mercedes" it seriously looked like her so fuck off
In first part of S3 , we can see that Quinn completely lost it & i can see why. In S2 , she 's in a recovery mood cause she lost everything since her pregnancy: her reputation , her dignity , her baby & her boyfriend. So she try to fix & find again the peaceful life that she had before all of that but she doesn't succeed cause eveything that she try to build just inevitably go away. So in the first part of season 3 , she kind of explode , she's a mess , and feel like she really doesn't have anything or anyone to rely on anymore. She's in pain and in rage. I loved seeing that new crazy ,messed up side of her , it was a real change for her character.
Also her father disowned her and her mom did too for a while. Her parents literally threw her out of her home and Mercedes' family had to take her in with them.
Not to mention later on she gets into a car crash and has to stay in a wheelchair for a while. Not sure if the writers hated the character or something, but Quinn’s development was by far the most interesting out of all characters. She went from a stereotypical cheerleader to a completely beaten up girl in the third season…it’s devastating but really inspiring to those dealing with grief in life.
I feel like you're a little messed up if you think saying things about real life people with feelings is worse than about characters (Who were clearly in love with each other)
I liked Quinn looking this way and thought it was a shame that they didn't keep it up for at least a couple more episodes. It added a bit of colour to the cast.
@Caleb Mayfield Many people hated her because of how she treated people in the early stage of the show. She was a ruthless bully. But she does have amazing character development and became a great character.
Quinn’s character was great. She makes mistakes, goes through every horrible thing a person can, no matter how deep she falls, she always picks herself up and keeps going. That’s amazing. Everyone grows through that stuff. It’s good to see someone going through it too.
She was clearly suffering with it but it got completely overlooked. She needed help - therapy. She went through a hell of a lot; Mentally, physically and hormonally.
People hate Rachel but she’s the most emotional available person on the show. She is a real and she feels deeply. That can be overbearing and annoying but she’s the star of the show because of it.
@@Lana-hu7kz ok and so is Mercedes, so is Santana, so is dumb ass Brittany lol they all have flaws and they are all annoying. Ppl hate Rachel because she has the talent to back up her annoyance
@Nicole Maloney Except she didnt. Mercedes asked Rachel to tell her that she is better than she is to her face and she literally couldn't. She also panicks out of jealousy several times when Mercedes performs. She knew herself that Mercedes was better than she was
even knowing i LOVE Quinn's Style, i would like to see her pink hair for the rest of the season i mean, maybe not FULLY PINK, but still pink at the tips i think it suits her ❤️
Sheila: "I once ate cat poo." Me: "Yeah um, you're 30 years too late for that to be big news sweetheart. Divine ate dog poo live on camera back in the 70s. She didn't need to tell anyone how tough she was, the whole world knew."
Rachel was treating most people like shit in Glee, but she was always good to Quinn. I'll give her that. And I hate Ryan Murphy. He should have showed more of Santana's,Brittany's and Quinn's friendship. I love the Unholy Trinity.
Am I the only one who thought she looked super hot? Even if she ditched the attitude the punk look on her looks great. She reminds me of Chloe from life is strange
One thing for sure... I really... Really... Really...Hope, Quinn will doing a punk-rock Solo with those Pink Hair, You know like, Teenager by Chemicals Romance, Stupid Girl by Pink, Or doing some Avril Vibe... But sadly it didn't happen
It annoys me in some ways how... stereotypical Quinn is. She is a really well written character but she also fits so "marvelously" into the picture perfect blonde who then has an emo phase, where she keeps on insisting that it's not a phase only to come back to being the picture perfect blonde again. Her character has so much potential because she is indeed a very interesting character. But this "emo/punk-phase" of hers just kind of proves the point how stereotypical she is. She said that she has finally found herself with her short pink hair and the overall look and attitude to align with her character from the seasons before. Slightly sassy, independent and direct. It would've been great to have a character maintain a different look and keep it to their adulthood or sth. I was already annoyed when Tina ditched her emo look showing that it was again "just a phase" and when Quinn showed up in this I thought "That is some heavy character development" and it matches her. But no she ditches this look too showing yet again that it was "just a phase".
