The reason the glee club was good was because they constantly challenged Shue and the other members, the reason that Glee was good was that they provided actual issues cuz Rachel lacked social issues and Kurt mainly had gay-social issues to deal with. Otherwise the problems would have been fairly monotone, otherwise known as just high school stuff. Santana even had a bigger coming out problem than Kurt did. She was sexually harassed by classmates, had her sexuality broadcasted for political purposes, experienced rejection from a beloved family member, and not to mention her coming out was a slow burn that was steadily set up throughout the first few seasons. Kurt told his dad and he was all "Yeah, I figured. I still love you." and most of the group accepted it and he was mainly severely bullied by the closeted jock, the others bullied him for being a show choir nerd.

I have a little headcanon that Brittany and Santana hid a CD player and lip synched. They didn't plan on staying in Glee very long anyway. How long could it take Quinn to pull Finn away from Rachel and destroy the Glee club? I mean look at Rachel, she dresses like a 5 year old in Sunday school and smells like a Slushie. Mr. Shue didn't notice because 1) he's not very bright and 2) the cheer skirts are distracting

@@ZTGAMEZ Not even 30 seconds, because in every single second of every single scene you can see a teensy tiny bit of Rachel just popping up from the bottom right corner of the screen, wanting nothing more than to steal the spotlight away from her fellow castmates, but only being barely held back by the promise of another solo.

I'm totally okay with them never having a competicion number. The UHT had the two weakest female singers in the glee club and Brittany didn't sing in The edge of glory, and i do mourn that, but the three of them having a number just because they're friends? They didn't sound better than fine togheter. Now the powerhouses, the real vocal trinity of glee: Amber, Naya and Lea never getting a trio is something i will always resent and mourn

Only Naya. Dianna was forced into a weak nasal soprano instead of her natural deeper alto, and HeMo isn't a singer at all. Amber has the best voice on the show and could always out-sing the entire cast combined

Diana should of sung lower but her voice is sweet. Heather is a great dancer. Naya is a great singer.

Heather was a phenomenal dancer and was a good (not great) singer. Naya was a phenomenal singer and a good dancer. Dianna was a good dancer and a good - but very unique - singer. Both naya and dianna were very vocally versatile and while heather wasn't very versatile vocally, her voice added a lot of brass and strength in their harmonies that blended especially well with naya's raspy high range and dianna's sweet timbre. Dianna's voice might not be as strong (tone wise) as the other 2, but her voice adds an incredibly beautiful and interesting texture to their harmonies that make them as a trio unmatched imo.
