I think it would’ve been too hard for Lea to do that. I think the speech was better without him as well because as much as I just love Finn, he’s not responsible for her accomplishments. Kurt is the much bigger help as well as Blaine and ESPECIALLY Mr. Shuester.
well, tbh tho... Rachel is too selfish and arrogant to even bring up the fact that Finn is the reason she’s on the stage. She was a spoiled, bratty and privileged princess. Unlike Rachel, Lea (the actress) would give an amazing tribute to Cory. Rip Cory 💕
As someone with ocd, seeing Emma with the kids, although a small detail, made me bawl like a baby. It's always been a huge fear of mine, and getting "better enough" to have kids of my own without making them as crazy as me seemed like it wasn't worth it. But that kind of reminded me that it's possible, and it's achievable.
Season 1 episode 1: Being apart of something special makes you special Season 6 episode 13: Being apart of something does not make you special. It is special because you are apart of it. It truly has been an honor seeing Rachel berry grow and develop. A special character who’s made mistakes, but has ultimately taught us so many lessons. We love you Rachel Berry
@@khya9840 yeah, there wasn’t much character development, she was a spoiled brat and nearly everyone bent over backwards to give her her way the entire series.
finn would be proud if he was still alive rest in peace angel we miss u im just glad we got to see some of his legacy before her left us thank u cory and i hope u find peace and silence in paradise
@@gremlyn1658 It isn't the kids of Will and Emma but the brother and sister of Sam, he didn't go to New York because it's wasn't for him (to loud, the people, noises... I don't remember well)
Teresa vacarr I think it's just too much for lea....it's hard enough fir her in real life, I think she dies not need to deal his Cory's passing on the show as well....
Teresa vacarr. finn is a great for her but not the love of her life the love of her life is gonna be the man she married , had kids with , and die with ; Jessie not finn
I'm so glad she ended up with Jessie, not only for Rachel, but for Lea and Jonathan's friendship. I think they both knew how bad they wished it was Kori, and I'm not sure Lea would've made it through it if they had just hooked her up with someone random. Knowing that they were best friends before and after this show is remarkable
Schue was so ridiculous sometimes (all he inappropriate songs!), but this really was touching and Matt Morrison really sold his pride in Rachel (and the rest of Glee).
that was so sweet of jesse when he signaled rachel to fast forwad her sppech and not to cry, he indeed really know her :) i do love finchel, i ship them so much at first.. but then i realized that jesse is so the most understanding one about rachel personality, yes rachel is a sweet and kind woman, but she is also so passionate about her dreams which to the level sometime a bit annoying for common, but jesse who has same passion about theater is more understanding to her and just always there at the theater moment when rachel alywas feels so down.. yes, finn is also sweethart to her, but instead of true love i consider finn for rachel as a highscholl heartthrob only..
these comments are like half "look she's pregnant did anyone notice?!" and half "SHE MARRIED JESSE??" Like its really obvious that she's super pregnant so if anyone missed that they weren't paying attention. Also, I'm glad it was Jesse in the end. The older I've gotten, the more I appreciate Jesse and Rachel's relationship. It's sad Cory isn't there, but really Finn and Rachel aren't a good match. Their ambitions didn't match, Jesse pushed Rachel a lot more. and Finn kept breaking up with her because he was so indecisive. So I think as far as second choice goes, Jesse was a pretty good direction for the show.
confessionsofoncer Tbh I agree... Finchel is the first ship I ever loved from a "grown" show so they will always mean a lot to me but they always seemed to like a "high school sweethearts" ships that wouldn't last long... Jesse and Rachel had the same ambitions and Rachel always needed a man by her side that pushed her up and out of all the boys in the show Jesse was the best choice
Seeing Rachel on glee and watching her grow finding her way in life making mistakes but never giving up, watching her friends help her through the tough times and being there for her, Rachel Barry is an inspiration to me she has taught me so much in life even when I fail at something she has inspired me to never give up and see more than there is to life To anyone who is watching this there is a whole another world out there go and explore, keep following your dreams and most importantly never give up, and that’s what Rachel Barry did she never gave up when things were down, Thank you so much for giving me inspiration, for giving me that drive to never quit when everything seems down, to always be positive, that drive has really inspired me to see what’s out there in the world. My dream is to dance with the best dance studios in the world and because of you, watching you has made me keep going until I succeed. You have my thanks🙂
I get goosebumps while watching this scene! I knew Rachel had quite the potential and seeing her up on that stage just was icing on the cake! The only thing I would change is, Finn being there with her. But since Finn passed, I’m glad it’s Jesse
fun fact,, finn and rachel were supposed to be end game, but after cory passed away, they had to change it so she then married jesse. rip cory💗👼🏼miss you love
Zara -a better chemistry? Finn had her, cheated on her and Quinn even, used Quinn, got back with Rachel then broke up with her anyway It’s not Finn’s fault. It is but, he’s just confused and stupid
@@sanjar6501 Jesse assaulting vegan Rachel with eggs moments after gaslighting her with “I loved you” was worse than what Finn did. I don’t even like the character of Finn and thought the show was better off without him but Jesse was a complete piece of shit. Plus he graduated that year (season 1) why was he still creeping around high school girls?
Shauna Scott Not according to the writers/creator. She was supposed to win her tony, earn great success, and still feel that something was missing, only to realize all the success in the world meant nothing without love and then she was going to come home to Finn.
I get that Jessie was the obvious choice for her when Finn was out of the picture. They shared so much. But still, this scene should’ve been with Finn being goofy and overwhelmed by being on the Tonys :(
Thats what makes this scene special. It shows the power that a teacher has in influencing, believing, and investing in their students. Mr. Shue wa inappropriate at times but he saw the beauty and potential in Rachel.
I always cry when I watch this. We all watched her strive for this dream. For this one moment. And she got it. I still hate that she ended up with Jesse, but eh, I'm so happy that her dreams come true that I'll let it go lol
Jesse was absolutely the right person for her to end up with. He did that horrible thing to her when he was a high school idiot. He spent many years ashamed of that and apologizing by his actions. He deserved another chance with her.
Back when I was in high school, my english teacher encouraged me to keep up with my writing, which was something sorely lacking at home. Years later, I became a published author for the first time. Thanks, Mr. Sorgent.
Omg everyone was so proud Rachel’s dream came true I almost started screaming being like OMG PREGGO MOMMA GOT THAT TONY YASSSSS!!! But I couldn’t it was one in the morning omg I was sooo happy😂😂😂😖💖💖💖💖😭😊
She never grew at all, you call giving up on broadway, and only coming back because her selfish plans backfired on her mature ? She didnt deserve that tony. She was a selfish, egotistical brat throughout the whole series.
I really don't like Rachel, but she deserved this. She never gave up, she had the courage to keep fighting until that moment and after that. Life was a bitch to her. Her high school experience was so bad for her, she heard so many bad comments, people laughing, tearing her and her dreams down. She went out, she tried, she succeed and yet, every one making bad comments, tearing that same old dreams down, and she was so bad... Like, she visited McKingley and she felt bad because, even with the success, everyone was still laughing because of her failure, pretending not to see the good friends. In Glee she won friends, a true love and then that love, Finn, died. And she met her mother, and listened from her that she didn't want a relationship with her. Her own mother decided to adopt someone, because she had miss the connection with Rachel. And well, fortunately she had that glee friends to help her, people who mocked her before, but able to repair that mistakes, and I was so happy for her winning this. I do think she should have been alone, like, a while, without Jesse... But ok, life continues... I dont like her, but I admire her, I can see when a character is good and deserves the best things
@@stywarcanales4546 lmao no she isn’t Amber didn’t have one nice thing to say about her when her shitty(possibly racist) behavior was called out last year.
As I get older I too realise that Jesse was the perfect fit for her. She wouldn't have to feel unfulfilled in any point in her life or choose. She's someone who needs success and love in her life so having one at a time wouldn't work. Such as say if she was successful but without love in new york then she'd miss sharing her life with someone and if she eventually gave up her career to have love then she'd miss that spark from being a performer and maybe it'd be too late to have kids by that point. It'd be a very half fulfilled life either way with a lot of waiting. Love and happiness is where you share your success and life with someone every step of the way and find them right next to you not waiting on hold. With Jesse she got to have it all
Literally I don’t care if she is the main character but she was the literal worst and got everything. Santana, Mercedes, Quinn , Brittany and even Tina deserved SOOOOO MUCH better Edit:- what I was trying to say that the original new directions were just as talented as Rachel and while she got everything they were never even presented the opportunities Mercedes being ONE OF THE BEST voices in the group had to leave cause of the mistreatment, Tina was told to wait for her moment but that never came, glee turned into the Rachel Berry show and that’s just not ok. Everyone else worked JUST AS HARD and people don’t even recognise their talents. And to everyone saying that OH SHE WAS ANNOYING BUT NOT EVIL LIKE SANTANA, first Santana was not evil she was a bully in the start and eventually her character had amazing growth and she even tried to be friends with Rachel and WHAT DID RACHEL DO? Ruin that friendship cause I she was insecure about something that’s wasn’t even a big deal to begin with second: let’s say Santana is evil, Rachel literally sent sunshine to a CRACKHOUSE cause she found her talented HOW IS THAT NOT EVIL?
I keep imagining my speech if I ever have one. And I know I would include my high school theatre director. She unfortunately passed away earlier this year. I know I will still thank her for guiding me on this path to success and believing in me when even I didn’t.
