As a runner, I'm always wary when stepping on old wooden bridges as I've nearly come a cropper a few times. I did those hills by walking in and out from Glen Shiel in a ten-hour walk. Good to see you are back on the mend quickly. Davie

Full sympathy, cycled out to Culra on Friday and came close to coming off a couple of times. Then the midgies were absolutely horrendous and the overnight in the tent after the Ben Alder pair was awful. Hope it's not too bad an injury for you.

Hope ur on the mend Frank.I am feeling ur mental pain with this one.🙄👍Went in for these 3 Munros on thursday 10th August. Got fed up getting off the bike and getting on it again after Strawberry Cottage,so a fecked it into a bush just after the Iron Bridge(West Affric sign) and walked the rest to the Hostel.Thought I was ok till I started the ascent behind the hostel and I had no energy in me.Really struggled to get up to the Bealach and knew I wasn't going to get them all.🥵🥵Just done a traverse of An Socach,dropped down to Bealach Coire Ghaidheil which has a stalkers path that takes you out at the iron bridge to get the bike.On the cycle out, my front wheel slide to the side and managed to stop myself from fully coming off the bike but cut 2 of my fingers.😮✌️Need to go back for the other 2 feckers and was raging at the thought the whole drive home.😱😱🚴‍♂️🏃
