Glen Campbell Sings “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle”/Bob Hope Skit 

From May 1987, Glen Campbell sings “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” at Pope Air Force Base in Fayetteville, NC; this was Glen’s first TV appearance without a beard in seven years. He then joins host Bob Hope in a comedy skit about the Wright Brothers, with a brief appearance by Brooke Shields & Barbara Mandrell. Although “Cradle” isn’t a duet in this performance, Steve Wariner’s harmony vocal on the chorus can still be heard on the backing track.
