The GVR based in South Auckland, New Zealand, operate on selected weekends throughout the year that can be seen at www.gvr.org.nz . Regarded as New Zealand's Premier Heritage Railway, they also operate trips and tours throughout the NZ Rail Network.
NZGR Ww 480 has been hauling the services since the completion of her overhaul in 2018 and is seen hauling a 6 car consist (heavier than normal) over the big grades the GVR has on its line, on Easter Sunday, 17/04/2022.
