One thing I took from the Putin/Carlson interview was Putin’s ability to explain Russia’s history. The first thing that came to mind is he is fighting for his history and as a Canadian, I am watching our history be vilified.

If we don't learn anything from history. We are forever doomed to repeat the lessons we were supposed to learn.

Its not just the USA that this is happening its everywhere throughout the western world in fact

We need to teach the next generation about the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Federalist & Anti-Federalist Papers & the Militia Act of 1792, etc.

This makes me cry, you are so right Glenn. We are truly cutting the beautiful flower’s of our past, leaving only the rot behind, which will surely bury us all in the end. May God have mercy on our wretched souls…😢

It's the same people, and movement (Decadence), that began destroying fine art and architecture in France. That's where art like cubism and brutalist architecture originated. Remember the seventies with the horrid architecture, fashion, and "futuristic" furniture? I'm so glad that made its way to the scrap heap.

Even beauty in architecture and art is being erased in favor of glass and stone "buildings" and distorted "statues" and slops called paintings.

So my great great grandfather came to America from Germany prior to WW1. This much I know. However my father was so ashame of being German, because of the Nazis, that he told us very little about our heritage.

Like putting history books and encyclopedias in digital format instead of print, history can easily be edited and forgotten.

Civil war wasn't an armed insurrection. Several states seceded from the Union. They did not seek to overthrow the government. They grouped together and formed their own nation - their own government. The confederate states fought to defend itself against an attacking force.

There are still cd's of history that was printed before 1999. We can save it whether or not these idiot want it.

Glenn you left out that it also let's you lose the "WHY". Why the country was founded, why the founding documents were made, why the Judaeo-Christian ethos was inter-weaved into the founding. Then we don't our own why's. It then becomes easy to say things like "my truth" instead of "THE truth". How can you prosecute somebody for perjury, when you swear to tell the truth and you tell "your truth"?

Lets play WHAT-IFs from a Putin POV... Lets make 30 barrels of Russian Oil cost 1oz of Gold - a 1oz bar of usual pure 9999fine Gold. So if you want to buy 30 barrels - you have to coff up 1oz of gold. With me so far ? This means countries will need to go buy gold to exchange for their oil purchases. It also means Russia gets a real hard asset in its treasury. Gold prices globally will go thru the roof as a result. OPEC follows suit as it hates the USD. This would mean the US Banks, FedRes and other Central Banks could not manipulate the paper gold prices any longer. With gold at $30,000/oz say, then the US Govt will need use its gold to buy oil. Eventually gold prices would stabilize around $15,000/oz say - a much truer price with no shorting by bullion banks. BUT Does the US have any gold left !? AND other countries will demand their gold back held at the FedRes custodianship in NYC. The FedRes Gold Swaps will be in question as to what is where or who owns what... ~! Ultimately this could destroy the US Economy in one easy move. ALL RUSSIA has to do is sell OIL for GOLD.

The US was never a "Christian Nation". Our founders were not "Christians". It isn't that people want to erase history, but to keep it where it belongs, in the history books, & try to do better. Why would we want monuments in the public square of people who enslaved the ancestors of our countrymen & treated them like livestock or killed them & stole their land? If I love my neighbor as myself, why would I ever want those men raised up like heroes for all to see? I would want our nations true history taught, even the ugly parts of it, so that we see the sins, we stop embracing them, we see the damage that those old sins caused still in our society today & so we don't repeat them, but instead help raise one another up, help love one another, & help lead one another to Jesus.
