Glenn Frey died the same day as my brother. Suffice to say, I was more upset about losing my brother, and didn't even know that Glenn Frey had died until the next day.
My Mom and I too loved Eagles my 1st concert at 8 years old Madison Square Garden Hotel California Tour...Amazing priceless memories Thanks ❤️😇📻🎼🎤🎹🎸🥁🎫🎟🎟😘 Mommy‼️
This song reminds me of my wife. It was her favorite song before she lost battling cancer, I wish I could change the hands of time, life could be so unfair most times, but sometimes I wonder why bad things always happen to good people
Hey dear, I couldn’t help but notice your captivating smile from across the room. It would be a shame to let this moment slip away without saying hello 👋
The over 800 dislikes are the ones who don't know what real music is. This is a song with melody & lyrics things that are missing in today's music. Miss these kind of songs. Didn't have youtube back in the 80's but glad it's around to listen to great songs like this. Miss you, Glenn.
Well said Evan I too grew up to listening and performing Eagles songs... The best ever !! The thumbs downers probably rap...death metal fans.... Wannabe music !! R I.P. Glen See ya someday in RocK n RoLL
Time doesn’t stop and it doesn’t go backward. Just because you don’t like today’s music doesn’t mean there’s not current music with melody and lyrics of substance. You’re no different than the generation that came before you that didn’t understand rock and roll or new wave or whatever. The one with closed mind here seems to be you
Along with some friends, I spent an evening with Glenn in 1987. We met him in a bar in Santa Monica after the L.A. Kings had upset the N.Y. Rangers and I was with a couple of the players that I knew. Glenn, a Detroit boy, impressed these guys with his knowledge of the game and was an absolute joy to hang with. Not a whiff of rock star arrogance; could not have been nicer. Spent significant time talking to a nobody like me, who, it was apparent to him all along, wasn't at all clear on who he was. A truly fine human being and a great talent. R.I.P., Glenn, thanks for the memory.
Amen. The Coolest Eagle by far. He would collaborate with others and they would get song credit. People said he was controlling, but I think it was more about the music, kinda like Mick.
This song is a prime example of the talent and versatility of the man he was willing to conquer all styles and genres of music there are no musicians doing that now the video is so captivating and the presentation is second to none RIP Glenn while we enjoy the treasure you left behind
One has to endure a lot and put up with back and forth . After all these years you still light my fire And I know that I want to be it going .cuz you are the only one I need and want .. I think I ave lived a good life that I am certainly good enough for you !!🥰
Fortunately, I went to high school with Glenn Frey. Glenn grew up in Royal Oak, MI. and he went to ROYAL OAK DONDERO H.S. During his high school days, he formed a rock band named 'The Mushrooms.' Glenn and 'The Mushrooms' played at our 8th grade graduation dance at Helen Keller Jr. High in Royal Oak. The Mushrooms were awesome and I admired Glenn Frey immediately. Glenn hung around the Detroit area and became close friends with Detroit rocker, BOB SEGER. Seger invited Glenn Frey to perform on his hit song,...'Ramblin' Gamblin' Man.' Finally, Glenn left Detroit and headed for California. The rest is history as Glenn and Don Henley formed the EAGLES. We dedicated the the street in front of Dondero H.S. as 'GLENN FREY DRIVE.' I am so happy that I got to experience Glenn Frey in the beginning. :)
Jeff Williams you are really lucky. What a wonderful story!!! I think Glenn Frey looks like a kinda happy go lucky guy. He just seemed happy was he?? It is a very sad thing that he left us way too soon though. I sure do miss his voice, in any kind of music. Thank-you for your story. He sure had a gift for singing and song writing.
I just want to no why these dislikers don’t write down why they don’t like this. I think it is a great singer, a great song and I love all songs off the Eagles and ofcourse Glenn.
Glen Frey was such a beautiful uniquely talented musical Genius his music touched so many beautiful people around the world 🌎❤🌍❤🌏 r.i.p Glen frey your superb music still lives on in our beautiful hearts ❤ & that's true love ❤️😘❤️🙏🕊️😇🕊️🙏❤️
Glen Frey. - True Love 💕 He’s got an easy flowing attitude to this song. The saxophone always adds class to any music, in my opinion. A very underrated talent. A sad loss to music.

The great soulful smooth sounding Glenn Frey…..giving all of us the best of the best, folks this is perfection at its core….the words, the music, the message and the magic of True Love…….RIP Glenn.
This is one of my favorite love songs of all time. It's so sad that Glenn Frey passed away. I wish I could have met him. Such a talented and soulful singer.

What a legacy what a man. Wonderful singer songwriter. I've always loved everything The Eagles did and was so lucky to get to see them live. Awesome. RIP Glenn.
That man could sing the phone book. Here he has a Motown Detroit sound. RIP Glenn. Gone but not forgotten. So much talent. Thank you for sharing that with the world.
Mr. Frey was/is an American treasure. As a father, I know Glenn would want nothing more than for us to send love and best wishes to his wife and children. Hope you're still playing in the after-life Glenn!

@@lawrencepberon3651 I'm here in Metairie. Not surprisingly, I have not listened to WTUL in maybe 30 or 40 years. If I had listened to WTUL, & if I had heard True Love, I would have fallen out of the car. At least, one thing is sure. Whoever played True Love on WTUL was a fine judge of good music. Good Luck. Richard
@@carolynpetzbibbo6890 For goodness sake. A radio station in 2021 actually played a nice, semi-obscure (OK, obscure), 40-ish year old, analogue musical instrument, non-auto-tune song !!!!! You better check your ears. Such a thing could not exist in 2021. Your ears deceived you. What you heard had to be Billie Eilish singing a cover version of "Stinks Like Teen Spirit". Thanks, Richard :)
Lucky you for experiencing true love. Not everyone is bestowed such blessing. Just hang in there. Your true love awaits in heaven for your final and forever embrace.

Uno de los cantantes más importantes de la historia. Un legado lirico, musical y como compositor que pertenece a lo mejor que ha existido. Qué pena que nos dejaste. D.E.P.
Me and my wife had this as our first dance song. We are early thirties and we just blew everyone out with this one. They even all fell for the fakeout in the end. I haven't found a single boomer that can remember this song. So strange.
Out of the blue, out of the night You came along and you changed my life You got me feeling things, I swear I never felt before You looked at me, that's all it took You read my heart like an open book Well, it was true love- right from the start True love, straight from my heart True love, ain't no doubt about it, baby True love, now I can't live without it Before I met you baby, I was alone Thought I was happy livin' on my own But now I realize this world was made for two, like me and you With you by my side, everything's fine There ain't no mountain, sugar, we can't climb We got a true love, that's all we need True love, it's got a lifetime guarantee True love, so hard to find True love, put your heart on the line now True love, makes every day a little brighter True love, makes every burden just a little lighter True love, it'll make you be a better man If you had true love, you'd understand Out of the blue, out of the night You came along and you changed my life You got me feeling things, I swear I never felt before You lift me up, you make me strong You give me lovin' lastin' all night long When it's a true love, right from the start True love, straight from my heart True love, need you here beside me baby True love, need your love to guide me True love, I can't deny this feelin' no no matter how hard I try I just know what I feel, and it's a true love She's my baby, she's my girl She changed my life, oh, she changed my world She's my buttercup, oh, fill me up Talkin' about love, talkin' about love, it's gotta be a true love
Glenn Frey was my kind of man . I wish he were here. I would love to see him cut up. He always, He always had what it takes to make my (little heart skip a beat) I will always love Glenn. .
When I first heard this minus Eagles, I stopped my car to listen. I was deeply in love and vowed to play it as I walked up the aisle. Fortunately, I did not marry him, but will never forget how this song expressed exactly how I was feeling.
1988, My dad was still around, he just suddenly gave me a few bucks to buy whatever record i want, i picked this out and he liked it. Just Wikipedia the album and it was released in August 15, 1988, that's my dad's bday 🔥🎧🍺🔥210424.
Never knew he was such an amazing solo singer, always liked him in the band, but I love him as a soloist. Such a beautiful voice. It breaks my heart that he passed.
Everything Glenn and Don touched turned to Gold! Please do not take that the wrong way, Glenn was the ring leader and deserved every plus the Eagles were.

I've been waiting for this one to show up in a video real version for a long time - my Favorite of many favorites from Glenn - warms my heart every time I hear it! True Love - All or Nothing!
Think he most genuine of eagles..and hear him talk..A1..great songwriter and modest enough to say Henley d lead singer...Henley great but he would not outdo Frey on his songs
Hello!!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day…Stay Safe!
This is his best video ever! She looks up at him with so much adoration, he brings her up to the stage and sings to her like she's the only one in the room then she drives her sleepy friends home. Brilliant!
I love this song, I remember seeing this music video on MTV years ago and this song was so memorable it was so cool Glenn bring the girl on stage and she have the time of her life, great song and Glenn Frey will always be a legend to music.
We Love the Eagles and have attended many live concerts. We will always miss Glenn Frey, we continue to love seeing the Eagles, and have enjoyed his son and Vince Gill joining the band. A great singer and entertainer. A tremendous loss.
I've just arrived home from a shift working in a very large country park, I've walked over 10 miles today during my 8 hours...now I'm listening to this cool song...I am home :-)
I played this song for my sister a few years ago and she fell in love with it. We used to play it for each other every few weeks or so. Just played it for her a few minutes ago and we laughed and hugged. It's our favorite song! Kinda binds us together.
