64 years old and he sounds like a man half his age. Remarkable voice...love the production too. Heavy, clear bass and thundering drums with minimal compression.
God bless Glenn. He was great as a young new member in D.P 1974 and taking rock, blues, gospel and funk to amazing levels. One of the best ever that hardhead:)
@@xy7105 It doesn't matter, the voice starts to see signs of decline when you are in your 50s. this man technique is what is holding there until this day. He knows how to scream properly, close to perfect technique.
DAMN!!! The VOICE of ROCK, SOUL & FUNK has turned it up a notch and gave us one hell of a good hard rock song. I have been following GH since the early 70's with the Power Trio, "Trapeze" and it seems like his voice just gets stronger every year. Looking forward to the new solo record and hopefully a new BCC4 Album.

Glenn is such a great songwriter and a great musician . This song is so catchy even if there's no guitar solo. Kind of heavy funk rock .Great singing as always. I love that . it makes me wanna grab my guitar and sing .
I can't wait for the release of Glenn's new CD. What talent this man has! Double knee surgery a few months ago way to go Glenn! I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet with Glenn a few months ago. I don't get it why he has no calluses? What a totally down to earth no B S man he is. Get his autobiography if you have opportunity.
Hughes is and always has been amazing. He is one of the few lead singers that still sounds as good now as he did 40 years ago. I don't know if he took special care of his voice, used proper singing technique or is just luck. But he still sounds amazing. SO many top singers sing with incorrect or poor singing technique and end up with major nodes on their vocal chords. They are very rarely the same after corrective surgery. But Hughes didn't seem to have this issue.
He was phenomenal can't believe he can still sing that good after all these years And the bass playing is awesome. 72 unbelievable. I hope he comes to Penns Peak again next year. Loved the show. Way better than any of this new crap coming out . Glenn Hughes you still fucking rock. Thank you for a great time.
first time hearing it, and we all know some greats songs, need to be heard several times,before you like it.With that being said kudu to glenn, he's still got the pipes, love seeing Chad there, point being these guys don't quit, they are a dying breed of rock and roll, god bless them! keeping rock alive.
As fabulous as it was to see Glenn at the Whisky in LA earlier this month, I'm wishing now that he would've given us just a little tease for the new album and played "Heavy." Pre-ordered "Resonate"' on day one. I feel just like a teenager again, waiting for "Burn" to be released.

Moi je dis que c'est un travail de dingue pour pouvoir conserver cette voix intacte après tant d'années à hurler dans des salles enfumées, à voyager dans les courants d'air, à vocaliser dans des stades par 40 degrés, ou sous la neige...Je me marre quand certains chanteurs classiques craignent pour leurs voix et préparent à même pas 40 ans leur reconversion. Qu'ils aillent un peu demander des conseils à Glenn Hughes. Sérieusement! Cela n'est pas tant de chanter aussi bien qui le rend admirable, c'est d'avoir la technique pour ne pas faiblir, surtout dans ce milieu du rock où tout n'est pas forcément propice à la préservation d'un tel instrument. Ou alors il a un fric fou et il va se faire poser des cordes vocales neuves tous les 5 ans, un peu comme on change les pneus d'une bagnole? (Non! Je plaisante là). Si on peut parler de contre-ténors dans un certain domaine musical, pour sûr avec "The Voice" on en tient un magnifique, et qui traverse les époques...Pour couronner le tout, je ne l'ai jamais entendu chanter faux (il est bien le seul), encore un exploit!
