A lot of manhwa readers undermine Ines' manipulation because it's not shown how much she had worked towards her plan. (They probably still believe her wearing black is mourning for Emiliano and her child when that was part of her plan. This will get shown more later on when they move to Calztela where she'll put on a black dress again to make him lose interest, but he ends up liking it more.) They think it was just her ignoring him, but how she talked to him is part of her brainwashing. Some people think he's arrogant because Carcel mentioned in the beginning that his face is the fault for it while the novel did show Ines always talking about how handsome he is, the manhwa cut those lines because then it would take a lot more panels. “So, I’ll compensate you for your losses. I don’t want to spoil even a bit of this handsome face.” “Actually, it’s a waste of resources to keep that face for myself. I’ll be dumping a gold mine that shows up, and not collecting salt from the sea.” “Since I’m proud of Lord Escalante, I won’t let him go to spoils.” “In that meantime, don’t leave out your handsome face. How would I have lived if you weren’t handsome? Yes?” “A flower withers when plucked, doesn’t it? So leave it where it belongs, and I’ll leave you as you are.” (in the manhwa) “You just have to keep looking like this. With a very handsome face. Eyes, nose, mouth, everything stays the same.” “As a matter of fact, Cárcel. For a handsome man like you, it is very easy to live like a dog. And it’s not your fault. The world made you like that....” I mean, just the way she talked... it's very unusual. People would think it's condescending, but she meant it. She really thought he was handsome, and she was wasting his handsome looks by keeping it to herself. Imagine being talked about like that since you were young. That's how brainwashing/manipulation works. It's consistent throughout the way she talked to him. The author herself confirmed that Ines isn't a good person because she manipulated/groomed little Carcel. As for her plan, it will come unravelling as the manhwa moves along. It's just that in the novel, it explains more previously. It talks about how she planned to guilt trip Carcel into marrying her, how she planned to make him feel suffocated to cheat on her, how she love bombed him with gifts and letters saying she loves him, etc. None of which was shown in the manhwa. These are parts not shown later on in the manwha. They were part of her POV before they even married. So it's not Carcel who is vague, it's Ines. Manhwa readers just need to wake up from what they think Ines is because they certainly don't know her. She enjoys sex with Carcel even before loving him. She doesn't care when he fondles with her breast without even asking her for permission. She always thought he was good-natured and never even hated him before they married. She's a pretty shallow individual as she only chose Emiliano not because she loved him but because of his face that is more beautiful than a woman and she chose Carcel because he's the most handsome man to her so that adds to her interest that she knew she would be able to have sex with him without being turned off. Her views and preferences of men are not the same as readers. She's not a "girlboss" who wanted to dominate a man. She actually likes equal partnership as she enjoys owning Carcel just as much as she enjoys him owning her.
Que tanta razón tienes pero para que los que ven el manhwa entiendan a de verse una línea temporal muy importante solo ahí te das cuenta tanto de Inés como de caser
I've been reading the Light Novel for two weeks now and I'm still in the 80% 🥲 u will really fall in love in this novel wishing to have someone like Cárcel. Now I know why Oscar is so smitten with Inés she's really irresistible. 🥵
The novel is one of a kind and the manhwa is the best. Tho not all written in the novel were illustrated like how she bj him in their first night tgt. 😹 I hope they showed a hint of it tho. Cause it will be an important recall when some girl told Cárcel that his wife won't satisfy him and even put his in her noble mouth. Little did they know what Inés did. 👀 If they're going to keep skipping all the sm*ts then many ppl won't understand the story. Since many of the most memorable conversations were said while they're in the middle of the deed. Like when Cárcel first confessed to Inés.
@@havensohn3821 Actually I'm waiting for the next one. Because other manhwa started like this as well then in the next chapters they showed it. Let's see if they'll illustrate the sm*t in the mirror chapter. Cause the novel is really R-19.
@@gabynavarrete3257 yes. Cárcel made her happy and he's her true love. That's the reason why her 2nd(Oscar) and 3rd(Emiliano) marriage failed because she didn't marry her fated partner, which is Cárcel.
The FL lived 4 lifetimes. 3 ends up as a tragedy. This novel/manhwa is one of a kind. Not cliché like the other manhwas. 1st Lifetime (Cárcel): They loved each other and almost had 3 kids. It's the saddest and most tearjerking part of the story. Their 3 kids died and in the end the FL died because of an incurable disease and the ML died in the war. Then after their death they both have a chance to get a wish for their next life. The FL wished him a good life without her because of the tragedies they had experienced(She believes that he's too good for her) and to not die in the war again. The ML actually wanted to live with her again in their next life but he respected the FL's wish, so instead he wishes for the FL to not get that disease again and for himself to not love anyone else but the FL no matter how many times he dies and lives again. And if the FL is still unhappy with another guy, the ML wishes for a chance for him to make her happy again. 2nd Lifetime (Oscar): The FL got married to the Crown Prince and had 4 miscarriage, the Crown Prince is a b*strd who abused and rap*d her and eventually got STD after sleeping around with other ppl. In the end the FL killed herself after she found out that the cause of all her miscarriage is because of the Crown Prince' disease. 3rd Lifetime (Emiliano): The FL still remembered her past life with the Crown Prince and was about to get married again with him in 3 months. So to stop this from happening, she seduced the Painter's Assistant and ran away with him, they lived a poor life and got 1 kid but in the end Emiliano got killed by the FL's Brother (it is the price they have to pay for her cheating on the Crown Prince) and they took her back to their house again. Then the FL overheard her Brother (Luciano) and her Father (Leonel) planning to kill her son, because of this she took her own son's life then committed sui cide. 4th Lifetime (Cárcel/The current life in the story): This is the fulfillment of the ML's wish in their first lifetime. The FL planned to marry the most handsome guy in the world which is Cárcel(The Crown Prince Cousin) to cancel her engagement with the Crown Prince, the FL manipulated him to cheat on her while they were still engaged so that they could easily get divorce in the future but when they were about to get married there's where the FL's plans started to fall into pieces--- and I will stop here. 😹 Better read the story. It's great.
@@ranlee5292 Hi, my comment gets keeping deleted for some reason. Huhu I just wanted to ask if it's ok to send the novel to my mail. I don't know if this will get deleted again
People said their story is both tragic and romantic. Tragic yes but romantic?? If ML is conditioned to be a cheater since young, how could he change so easily after marriage? If this ML is not the main ML but a second ML or even a villain. Most people's comments will be "cheater will always be cheater". And then there's the FL having no qualms of manipulating anyone, even a small child to ruin, just for her own goal. Sorry, but you can't blame me of having to doubt the sincerity of their "happily ever after" romance at all. Even more so when the FL literally lived the life and suffered the trauma of being cheated on. But I'm sure it's a good read. So feel free to enjoy while I'm satisfied with this occasionally popping out on my recommendations and shorts. 🤷🤷♀️🤷♂️
The thing is that he never cheated on her, they werent married YET and they weren't a couple that time, it was a political engagement made when they were children, he never gave his consent but he couldn't annul it bcs of her status and she literally brainwashed/manipulated him at a very young age for years and years to become a womanizer, she thought he was a playboy bcs of the rumors from the ladies she heard, but he's not a playboy, he just needs HER. Since ines' purpose in this part 1 was that she was waiting for him to cheat on her for her benefits, implies he never did and he'll NEVER do it, bcs he's madly in love with her in all his lives. Then when there is a engagement, they had to spend their teenage years together (to know each other more etc..) but Ines rejected him, and gave him no attention so they lived their lives on their own these times, he tried so hard to move on, but impossible, he's obsessed by her, so it has nothing to do abt cheating, he never even had a chance to pursue a real relationship with her so he resorted to sneakily linking up with anyone who looked at him but Ines was always in his thoughts and the only one who made him happy (and hard), even when it had been years since they had seen each other. None of them are horrible, one had zero attention from the person he's madly in love with, the other had tragic pasts and she wants him to cheat for her benefits. In the prologue he literally describe her as the sunshine in his life and that he was hoping that THIS TIME she would love him back as he always loved her in all his lives. Carcel is just so fucking adorable, loyal and madly in love with Ines, he needs her attention only, he's just like a golden retriever literally, he always put Ines happiness first even in their past lives when she was in a relationships with other men. He's one of the best ml in Korean novels, and best husband.
This story is all about Cárcel and Inés not about Emiliano and Inés. If u read the light novel you'll understand. Cárcel is the most deserving guy in this novel as he loves her in all their 4 lifetimes.
For me Cárcel and Inés first lifetime is the saddest. As she's been a btch to Cárcel in that lifetime. In the present(4th lifetime) Inés don't even want Cárcel to remember their first lifetime together because she's scared that Cárcel will leave her if he remembers how she treated him in that lifetime. Oh yah. Inés loves her brother (Luciano) more than Emiliano (The painter's assistant) she said it in the novel. Even their kid (Luca) is from Luciano's name. In the 4th lifetime she doesn't love Emiliano anymore all the feelings she has for him is guilt.
You're saying that because the manhwa is yet to show her first life. In her first life she was married to Carcel. They were so in love but things took a tragic turn. Their story is so heartbreaking. He dies in the sea and his body sinks to the ocean floor while she dies yearning for him. The wishes they made in their last breath is what makes her live her life again and again. She suffers in her second and third lives cz she chose the wrong partner. For this cycle to end, she has to choose carcel - her beloved husband who went above and beyond to ensure her safety in all their lives. Carcel has been the end game from their very first life. Their story is honestly tragic but still beautiful.
@@ariellemandara1483 I think I read a spoiler in the novel that in their first lifetime they had the twins and carcel went to war and died while Ines was ill(idk I forgot) and that carcel wished Ines would have another life while Ines also wished for carcel to have another life that's my they're rencarnated¿ (I'm not really sure since my memory ain't that good)
I have read the comic and it is very sad😔😔😔The man bathrayed his fiance with many many wemon 🤬🤬🤬🤬I hate this man so much😡😡😡She deserve someone better🤔🤔🤔But the art is realy Beautiful 🤗🤗🤗
I think you'll change your mind soon as the story goes. 😹😹😹 I also hated Cárcel in the beginning but after I finished reading the light novel of this manhwa. I realized that Cárcel is one of the best ML in all of the manhwas that I've ever read. Actually what Cárcel did is not really betrayal(it's all according to Inés' plans, she's a manipulative person). Inés doesn't care about Cárcel's escapades and even wants him to continue what he's doing as stated in the manhwa, she even questioned herself where her plan went wrong and why Cárcel is giving her too much attention now. We're still just in the beginning, maybe 10% of the light novel and there's still so many things that are going to happen. The storyline is really one of a kind not cliché like the other romance stories.
@@ranlee5292 where you read all chapters?🤔🤔🤔🤔I had only 16 chapter know😔😔😔I wish i could read more of this manuha😔😔😔But thank you for your polite comment🤗🤗🙏🙏Have a Beautiful day ahead from Germany 🤗🤗🙂🙂
