Glitch & Legit Ways to BEAT the Valkyrie Queen in God of War, Works 2022, Sigrun

We give you the build and tips to beat the Valkyrie Queen Sigrun. This toughest boss can be beat if you can do damage fast and avoid taking it. The glitch allows you to cheese the fight easily on any difficulty.
We advocate a cooldown build with the talisman of realms if you don't want to cheese Sigurn while dodging to the side. When she is flying Kratos is close to dying.
For the glitch way to defeat her easily you need a level 5 leviathan axe and the ranged skill "Returning Storm" and the Talisman of Betrayal obtained in Fafnir's Hoard favor for the dwarven blacksmith Sindri.

11:06 Atreus must not be in view until after second strong attack button

@@Marvelman199 Nope not patched, as I used the slow time in the mists, and it works, but I didn't use it for beating the Queen as I just didn't have to time to use it without getting killed by her, but I did beat her with the buld he has in this.

@@krrish4879 Upgrade talisman of betrayal to maximum upgrade. Make sure axe is in hand before starting battle. As soon as it starts all I did was get bit of distance from her quickly, then held L2 & press R3 to activate talisman. Then straight away press R2 to recall axe & immediately press R2 again. She should now be in slow mo. If she isn't then start checkpoint again & retry. Note: I believe if she hits you at the start while you're pressing the buttons then it won't work. If u take any damage at the beginning just restart checkpoint. Also keep distance during battle, if u take damage she may start at normal speed again

Thanks so much for the glitch method. I spend around 10-20 hours on GMGOW trying to beat her and always getting just over halfway. Finnaly got the platinum now, all done on GMGOW difficulty in one playthrough

@@ALF_Playzzz I didn’t use exactly the same armour. Just used the combination he mentioned but it did take a few goes sometimes before it triggered. Once it did take your time, as if she hits you she goes back to normal speed And I only tried it on then queen Valkyrie, not any of the others so can’t confirm on that!

As of August 5th of 2024 I finally made it thanks to this glitch, I felt so frustrated fighting Sigrun, I even lowered the game's difficulty to "brain damage" and nothing worked, I've been playing for many years and I want to enjoy the history and complete things for achievements, not reconsider my existence in this planet, Jesus... Thank you! Got it on my 2nd go! Didn’t even need a resurrection stone. I spent more time getting embers to upgrade the dwarf chestplate. And your breakdown of it is A1 👍🏻 Even if you don’t get it the 1st few goes, you can learn her attacks easier with the whole thing slowed down.

Duuuuuude FINALLY!!!! 😮‍💨 was able to beat her. Beat the game in 2018, but could not beat her. Came back to finish her off before playing Ragnorak. This glitch works 10.09.2023. I was playing GMGOW difficulty, no shame to my game, that shit was hard. Thanks man, I can finally go see Thor! 😈

She's what's in my way of the platinum, I got so frustrated and deleted the game years ago and now I re installed it to try again so this will definitely come in handy . Hopefully it still works now in January 2024

Cheese method works in 2023. An improvement on the cheese method. Use Atreus Wolves runic attack to stun her right at the start of the fight, run off to the edge of the area and execute the cheese method. You will have around 10 seconds to pull it off. I lost and redid the slow mode 3 times. If you lose it, send the wolves. Don't use heavy attacks or runics. Hits tend to break it.

For anybody still trying the "legit way". DO NOT TAKE EXAMPLE from this guy. You should do much less dodging and much more observing her and doing just enough to defend her current attack. - Move right not left all the time - Try staying in the middle no be squashed by the walls - Prioritize not getting hit, you can go through whole fight without getting hit - R3 pin her, so the view follows her as much as possible - Do not get exited, just calmly follow the moves

His playstyle was the worst, all my senses were screaming to parry and follow up with attacks. Which is much more effective than just running and rolling waiting for the runics to be active again.

You have to have Runic 250 to get the "Returning Storm" skill first before the glitch works. After you get the Returning Storm you don't need to maintain Runic at 250 you can change armors etc to your liking. PC version: Left Control (hold it down), middle mouse button (activates the Talisman), Right mouse button and Right mouse button again. Release Left Control. If you get hit while doing the sequence it wont work. If Atreus is in the picture it wont work. Jan/2023

If i could upvote this an infinite amount of times I would. I started this game on Give me god of war thinking there would be a necessary achievment to beat the game on the hardest difficulty and when i found out there wasn't i was already so deep in to the game. I beat every single valkyrie on this damned BS difficulty and 30+ attempts on sigrun where I got her just over half HP gone and some bull shit would get me killed. THIS FREED ME, I have absolutely no guilt over cheesing this BS boss. Namely SOULY because of the difficulty. Watching normal difficulty or shit even the one higher her health pool is so beyond fucked in Give me god of war. I woulda killed her legit 3 times over on any other difficulty. THANK YOU SO DAMN much for giving me my revenge is was BEYOND SWEET.

Thanks a lot for this - works: 17th/Jan/2024. To make it even easier, once she is slowed, get behind her back, and attack her wings with a light attack, over and over, constantly stunning her, and keeping behind her at all times - she will be infinitely stunned and you can kill her with this one attack movement. This was done on patch version 1.33. Don't know if the glitch works above this patch version or not. But I made sure to never let my game update either way; incase of in-game glitches that can be exploited, I tend never to update the games.

THANK YOU!!!! If you also use: Eye of The Winged Chosen armor enchantment (it allows you to doge extra far away) then she wont touch you. once dodge with that enchantment in slow-mo and you will be miles away from her or any dangor.

Ngl I got tired of it after 10 straight attempts and lowered the difficulty. Got it my next try. Idec after grinding to find all the collectibles, the treasures, the ravens. Kratos needed to catch a break, man.

For those having trouble getting this to work: UPGRADE THE TALISMAN OF BETRAYAL COMPLETELY at a shop before attempting this glitch or it won't work. That was my issue. Once I upgraded, it worked 04/06/2023

I DID IT!!!!!!, dude thanks so muuuch!. Doubted at first but i got it after 15tries and kept my distance throwing my axe at her and recalling it😂😂. Just fyi some playstation 5 users its: L2 and R3, then double tap triangle x2. Still gotta doge her attacks though cos it packs on quite a punch and always have atreus shoot her down while she tries to jump on you. Hope this helps, goodluck to yall😂
