This is so eye catchy. I love Ae and always learning, but this understanding of effects, positioning and many other things, is astonishing. You should sell your projects on envato market, elements or videobolt etc..
Great Tutorial! I wanted to clarify, I tryed to put a gradient in the background like you did, but only a black solid shows behind the Logo Animation. Any ideas?
@@vfxshack Thanks, but I resolved the issue. I ran into problems when I would put the Logo Animation composition into separate composition. When I put the Logo Animation composition into a separate composition, the Logo appears and digital effect would work, but it would have a black background only. Instead, I just created the Logo Animation composition and imported any background footage into the Logo Animation composition only, in order for any backgrounds to appear.
Very nice effect, I've a problem with the artifacts that don't disappear completely with the minimax effect and are affected by the glow ruining the effect, what could I do?
@@vfxshack for the logo I was trying to use didn't work, but I tried another logo with color and it worked fine, I don't know why some white or all black logos don't work
I am using After Effects 2024, i tried to make the layer to be 'Alpha Inverted Matte' from the drop down (like in the video) but the drop down is not showing all the lists. When I select the drop down arrow, it only shows 'No matte' and '2. Logo Reveal' . Can anyone help me out?
If I want the use the glitch effect for a disappearing effect, what should I do? Like After the image shows up, I want the glitch effect to fade out the image (so the screen is blank again).
It is default effect; it should be visible. please check if your spelling is correct. Or try finding it under effects option above toolbar. Effects>Distort>Turbulent Displace.
hello, im geting stuck at the logo reveal, when i go to add fill it don't get fully covered like it does for you at 1:30, it just changes the color of my logo instead. Have followed alongside of you all the way, any ideas why it does that?
Some things might have gone wrong while you were creating this. Please check if there is any solid is on top of you logo or check the position of your logo, it may have been shifted out of composition size.
Folks I am having a novice issue trying to show or activate the matte to alpha inverted on the track matte listing. How are you all able to activate that? I've followed every easy step up to setting the bottom comp track matte to alpha invert on the second logo reveal. I cannot find where I can select the track mattes to alpha/luma invert. I've looked online for a recent tutorial, but I got nothing. Any help would be grateful.
Happy to help you....for the people who are not able to find track matte options like luma, alpha mattes, you must be using latest after effects version. Things are same but the options are changed a bit. I'm using after effects 2019 in this tut.
