The mistake of calling this weird bull with petrifying breath a "gorgon" is also one that the official D&D books make as well. What should actually be a Gorgon is instead called a Medusa. Thats like calling every vampire a Dracula

It's really funny to me that the Joyeuse, the fake treasure of the ship, can be zipped to from the Claiomh Solais, the real treasure of the ship.

Selling X&Y coordinates is such an amusing idea. Amazing salesman. "I'll sell you the rights to transport me".

Loving the Dracula throne room setup, even if only on screen for a few seconds, this really brings the mood for what we're getting into! Also I had no idea this game was so broken, I learn something new everyday!

Imagine the pitch Soma must've had for Hammer to buy his location in space-time. I can see it now: Soma just blips away and comes running back like "CHECK THAT OUT" and Hammer is like "YOOOOO LET'S DO THAT AGAIN"

I remember hunting the 100% completion for this game. Those were the days.

Love the extra effort u put into dressing up like Soma and sitting in the throne in the same pose as Dracula did in the famous “what is a man?” scene lol!

I remember that if you used the flying armor properly, you could get to the clock tower from an early stage even without the glitch. Of course, this route allows you to omit the scene where you meet Julius. (フライングアーマーを上手く利用すれば、早い段階から時計塔に行く事が出来た覚えがあります。このルートではユリウス(ジュリアス)との最初の出会いを省略する事が出来ます。)

Great, I always like Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.

I thought this would be a glitch showcase, but it's more like an abridged run of the game with the occasional glitch at the right time of the run.

I was having issues with the bat zip, because you said bat plus right, but I only had success when I did L+R plus right on the same frame

I feel happy that I know these glitches because I’m an enjoyer of the speedruns of Aria, where a bunch of these glitches are used in some categories

there's a zip you can do at the beginning of the game to skip to the chapel area. There's a room with a cow in it that you can get to using the backdash jump with the Flying Armor soul, and by zipping through the wall it puts you into the chapel. I always ended up near the beginning of the area, but you can end up after the Manticore boss if done properly.

It has taken me 20 years, multiple Aria playthroughs and various videos to notice: A. Arikado is how a japanese person would likely pronounce Alucard. B. That's Soul Search on the start of the game. C. Alucard must be losing power with age bc the spell doesn't kill all monsters on screen

Such a great game, this reminded me of my childhood memories going to school sleepy due to the lack of sleep grinding the game to 100% haha. I hope Netflix adapts this as the ending to the animation series.

Amazing video! Thanks, been having a ton of fun following along with it while playing a new save. I did want to point one thing out, however. In order to do the the Bat Zip successfully (16:15), you have to press L + R + Right at the same time, not just R and Right. I tried this for 20 minutes until I figured this out. Once I did, I was able to complete the zip on the first try every time.

Not sure if someone mentioned it, but you actually don't need those three souls equipped when you beat Graham. Only when you beat his first form. Possibly as you start the battle as well, but I am unsure. I personally like to just have them on the whole fight just so I don't have to switch souls mid fight, but if you want something better to use for the second form then you can. Not exactly important to the video, but just thought I should mention

After I got the Solais I did the bat trick (I don't plan to go to the chaotic realm ) next to the room with a sword I went to the corner and did the bat trick and I found a bunch of glitched rooms I don't know what they are but some of them are boss rooms(without bosses)

It's so funny how simple it is to mess with the memory addresses for infinite money. I'm used to seeing glitch videos that do the same thing requiring you to count to like 124 and navigating menus offscreen.

I'm playing through this game right now and stumbled on your video. First off, what a great channel...I think it's got a bright future. Secondly, that money glitch is a thing of beauty. That 300k Soul Eater ring isn't so unobtainable now.

I can't get the julius skip. I'm using a save state when he's standing in the wall and I've already tried it 50 times. Nowhere up the wall seems to work. Awesome video by the way. Any advice?

its crazy how good that game was for its time, better than alot of ds games. this game makes the other gba castlevanias like circle of the moon and harmony of dissonance look so bad, even tho they look and play like normal gba games, aria is just on another level.

I did not know you could wall zip with Rush souls like that.

Just curious how you are supposed to know which souls to equip to get to chaos? Seems oddly specific. Does an NPC hint to it somehow? I know I beat this game but I can't remember if I got the true ending or not. I know I was using GameFAQS for hints so I'm sure I looked that up too but it was years ago. Can't remember well. I beat the DS one with Soma first and had so much fun with it. when I found out there was another game with Soma I went to GameStop and picked it up. Eventually I beat Portrait Of Ruin as well but I don't think Order of Ecclesia was out yet. Soma's soul collecting was so much fun I 100%'d the DS one, even that one demon at the bottom of the map with the ridiculously low drop rate, that took forever but I still got it. Didn't enjoy Portrait as much but still a great Castlevania game.

What I really need to know is where you got the white coat

I've played aria a ton of times and still can't see Soma's outfit as anything but a lab coat.

Now if only Konami would pull their head out of their æ$$ and bring SOTN (PS & Dreamcast) to the Switch. But I guess that just makes to much damn sense.
