Marketing wise, they are going to bring in more US girls with familiar names to the most people, just to pull in viewers. It’s unfortunate because it does influence how much of the cast comes from there

Kinda tricky that they're mixing winners with 5th place or lowers but this has potential to be the my favorite season ever. I just hope they don't rig it to crown Alyssa, or to force a UK/US top 4. That would be a terrible way to ruin this whole thing. Really hyped to see Pangina, Envy and PPN again. And of course Alyssa on the TV is always a good idea.
I think that the winners of international franchises deserve a chance to be showcased. It’s not uncommon for people to have no idea who some of these winners even are.
I adore Miz Cracker, but I don't feel she has a chance. I would love to see Alyssa win it, but it still needs to be earned.... No riggery, rigger Morris, please!
The winners already have All Stars-All Winners. I think it's disrespectful for them to be put in the same category as those who didn't get the crown. They should be reserved for ASAW only. Replace Elecktra, Envy, and Precious with Brooke Lynn, Viñas Deluxe, and Divina de Campo.

What a cast! Imo I love the no elimination model because we’d get to see all the runways from queens like Cheddar, Art, Pangina, Envy . . . Imagine how heartbreaking it would be to send any of them home to be demoted to instagram! I hope Art gets the redemption she so deserves, would love to see Soa de Muse on an international season too ❤
Ugh huns! I can’t stress enough how Turing of DRPH1 would absolutely dominate challenges. All she needed is a taste and wardrobe upgrade after she collect coins. Apart from her fashion, girlie can literally dominate challenges
@@fayis4everlove Denali wasn't top5 of her season and is one of the strongest competitors out there, if you objectively judge her skillset, she shoulda been an automatic top4 of her season, but production had other plans for her. Sometimes, everything would just fall in line to have a bad day for you. From Turing's words herself, "Just because you had a bad day, doesn't mean you have a bad drag." And DR PH's Top5 is Minty Fresh. I think she'll be devoured by international girlies because I don't remember her excelling at anything except at fashion. Girl has a stellar fashion taste, but we've tons of fashion queens, and I don't think she has anything different to offer. Imo, she was kept for that long because she was too pretty. P.S. Viñas would definitely be a viable competitor in an international season since girlie has the Charisma, Nerve, and Talent
Drag Race All Stars Herstory Brief Rundown: At the beginning there was only the original US Season then after a while came All Stars (held in the US) where past eliminated queens who didn't win their original season are granted a second opportunity to slay and win. AS1 gave us the team twist where 2queens would join hands and compete as a team in the competition. A while later comes AS2 where a new format is established, the top2 format, where the 2 best queens of the episode would pick a lipstick of the names of the bottom queens prior then LSFYL (lip sync for your legacy) and the queen who wins the lipsync would would send a bottom queen to sashay away Then AS3 comes with season1 winner Bebe and breaks the unwritten condition that only eliminated queens can join, very gaggy but all good tho. Then AS4 comes with Latrila and breaks another unwritten condition that a queen can only do all stars once, still good. Then AS5 with another new format, the lipsync assassin format, where the best queen of the ep would go up against a selected lip sync assassin and lipsync for their legacy. Unlike AS2-AS4 where only the top2 would pick a lipstick, every queen will now be able to pick a bottom queen they'd want to sashay away. If the the maxi winner queen wins then she would send a bottom queen to sashay away. If the LSA wins then the group vote with the most votes for a bottom queen would sashay away. It also right off the bat broke the condition where only selected queens can be lipsync assassin with the first LSA being Yvie then the second being Alyssa. After a while, with the show rapidly increasing popularity, different franchises from over the world start popping up, Thailand, Espana, Holland etc. Then a new franchise was introduced: VSTW (vs the world), supposed to be the platform where queens from all over the world can compete in a single season and each season a different host country would accompany the queens with the host country having the most number of contestants contributed. This is also the first time where we see a queen, Pangina Heals, not only a judge but someone that hasn't ever competed, join the competition UK VSTW, very hype. The vstw seasons would also use the abolished top2 format on AS2-AS4. Shortly after was the birth of AS8 All Winners where Winners of their respective seasons (regular or all stars) would come together(held in the US) to compete with one another. Introduced a new format, the no eliminations, the stars system, the platinum plunger. No queen is to be eliminated in the season and so in order to be on the finale, the queens compete each ep and the top2 best queens of each ep is awarded a star/s. Then they lip sync for their legacy to win a plunger, the plunger is used to block a queen from receiving a star the next ep. This also broke an unwritten condition right off the bat that only US queens/winners can compete with the first ever international queen&winner, The Vivienne, to compete on All Stars. Then Canada VSTW comes with Icesis, CDR2 Winner. This means even though there is an all winners for the winners to compete with one another, it is still allowed to compete in a VSTW as a winner. Next is AS8 with Jimbo, the first international queen to not be a winner and compete in an AS(held in the US). Ive heard they also contacted girls from ukvstws1 to compete too. Also broke another unwritten rule that only US Queens can come back as LSA, with Pangina Heals on Ep2. Now on present day we have Global All Stars which is definitely looking like a USVSTW with how many us queens are on. But at the same time it has 3winners(very shady that all3, Envy, Elecktra and PPN are winners of seasons not judged by Ru) and the no eliminations format? Further spoiler tea is that there would be an Espana All Stars soon. Kinda questionable why other franchises, UK on their 5thseason and Canada on their 4th seasons, haven't done their respective AS season. Are their AS seasons replaced with the UKVSTW format?, because if this keeps up there would be little queens left on the queen pool of UK and Canada for an AS since they've already competed on on VSTW. Another one is why was the All Winners branded as AS8 and they didnt make it a seperate franchise as All Winners All Superstars? Also Gia Gunn was a contestant on The Switch, a Chilean Franchise, but I discounted it since it didn't really had a major impact. Jujubee, also competed in Queen of the Universe and Jade competed on Dragula. That said, I'm not complaining with the amount of quality content we're being fed with cus its great, it's just that the lines are getting blurred quite a lot. Lastly, are rupaul secret celebrities drag race winners eligible to compete in an All Winners, lmao jk

It’s kinda confusing - so Raja is CVSTW is she now part of the Canadian franchise reign so anything with Canadian all winners she’s included? She’s not considered a US Queen? If that’s the case I don’t feel / see Blue being treated as a UK Queen winner circle. IMO - get rid of VSTW, and each country do their own All Stars only. All these crowns are taking away the specialness - prestigeness of being crowned as the winner. To bring in international talent, just have it be the Global All Stars. Yes it may feel US vs TW but US does have 15 regular seasons, so many options to compete multiple times. US has the biggest pool to pick from. So many to pick from. ALSO US girls are more recognizable so more viewers will actually tune in. If it gets that bad, just don’t have US contestants on who have competed on US All Stars more than once. - OR GLOBAL ALL WINNERS. Best winning contestants vs other winners. Now that’s Olympic status. For the winners competing should only be on all winners season. Although allegedly since they weren’t judged by Ru, still should treat them as winners and trust those respective judges who crowned them, acknowledging them as winners. If it’s that big of a deal, then have Ru on the first and last episodes of each franchise each season to meet every contestant and crown the winner so her input is “stamp of approval”. Let her watch the maxi challenges and judge from bts or smthg remote. Heck, Ru can have them submit casting tapes just like normal season and have their respective judges / producers weigh in their opinions just like US all stars. They all see everyone at dragcon. Also it goes back to allegedly, the language barriers, contestants would have to be able to communicate in English in order to compete and compete fairly. Idk if the Olympics and other global events can make it work so can Dragrace. Now Queen of the Universe, let that be its own thing. They’re not competing like Dragrace. Just singing and dance + performances…. You can’t compare Dragrace to Singing competition. Those queens should come on Dragrace if they choose to as regular contestants not invited to allstars. We have not met them as Dragrace contestants so they shouldn’t be given the all stars options. If that’s the case then Continental contestants should be direct to All Stars ?? It’s great love the content we are able to see from each country and see new artist, but it’s getting messy and new versions / franchises being produced each year.
i wonder if they call Kim Chi and she turns them down because she's busy or just not interested, or if they've never called her? Because Kim Chi on a non-elimination season would be epic. I really hope Elektra Bionic & Envy Peru compete again. Italia & Holland are arguably the two least popular franchises so I’d love to see WOW introduce the winners to a larger audience.
@@bebe13 the casts/winners were solid but the judging was questionable. In both seasons, production/Fred didn’t even try to hide the favoritism towards certain queens (Mama Queen, Abby OMG, Vivaldi, & The Countess)

I don't know how many times I thought Mama Ru is either in need of a stronger prescription in them contacts or is playing favorites aside from all that, did any of those people you mentioned that got favoritism win?
@@klbaldo We don't know yet because the season has not been filmed yet. If this follows the All Stars 7 format, the editing will make all queens good and likeable. I will still be rooting for Asian Queens PPN, Kimmy, and Pangina.
Yup! I guess they will be some up coming season they re so many queens now. They should put more queens who haven t been in All Stars yet like the season 8.
I also hate incorporating winners into seasons with non winners. It’s weird. Bebe shouldn’t have came back till the all winners season even though she did great on all stars 3
I think, in a way, the international winners are caught in a bind. This might be their only chance to compete on a season in front of American audiences, which has one of the largest fan bases. Do you wait until they invite you to an All Winners Season (which they’ve only done 1 in the past 15 years), or do you jump at the chance for an American-based production with no eliminations? Frankly (my own conspiracy theory), this might have been international winners, but when no USA winners said yes, they said, screw it, invite everyone to a no-eliminations season, and have them compete against winners.
I think that the queens when given the opportunity jumped on it. I mean the thing is, some of these winners unfortunately don't have the same following or legacy as non-winners competing such as Naomi, Cheddar and Alyssa. Naomi, Alyssa, and Cracker are fan favorites so just them being on will increase viewership so I think regardless, the winners of International seasons said "fuck it" because they're already gonna be seen every single episode guaranteed. I don't think it was "an international winners only" season, I think it was sort of a means to get big named queens back on the tv screen since All Stars and VS the world seasons have been flopping so hard lately.

Regardless of who gets cast for real, I don't want eliminations for this. I'd prefer the AS7 non-elimination format for this. This has so much potential to really showcase the brilliance of each competitor's art and really allow viewers around the world to have more time with these queens.
Non-eliminations will be beyond boring. Keep it as the gimmick for all winners. Eliminations are the soul of the show. It's why we tune in every week to witness the competition. Get rid of eliminations and you will also get rid of the suspence and stakes.
This cast is overkill omg. I really dont mind seeing international winners in the cast I think it mix it up really good. Precious & Envy really deserve to have their drag seen on a bigger stage while Elektra has a lot to prove after winning her crown with no wins

Remember when we back then knew that “UK Vs The World” was being recorded but we didn’t know the name of the season? The Global All Stars was announced too soon I think…I can’t help it but to think that what we think is “UK vs. The World 2” is ALREADY the Global All Stars and this idea just kept going and people start making wishlists and cast predictions but she did already had done herses
I don't like Winners being mixed in this circle. Like, I can forgive them bringing Elektra Bionic, because she won literally no challenge (seriously, she is the only winner in the franchise to not have won a single challenge in her season, she isn't in the other winners' levels), but Precious and Envy should stay the hell out.

it would make sense as non-elimination. Imagine all those international queens get eliminated first and not able to present their looks. That would be disappointing.
Global all stars should be one contestant representing each country. That would be epic. Also, no winners or all winners, mixing them seems unfair and disrespectful.
Many people complain about winners participating, but I think there's nothing wrong with it. For international winners to appear on a season with American girls is a great opportunity to have more exposure. It doesn't mean they won't be able to participate in All Winners in the future. I remember Icesis Couture was tweeting when Canada vs The World started: she said something like "why are you so mad that I'm here? There's no rules about who can and who can not participate, and I still can appear on all winners season".
